Any food with Tryptophan (turkey, milk, almonds, others), camomile in tea or tablet form (found at good health food stores), magnesium (I use it in a powdered form that mixes with hot water, like a tea), valarium (if you can stand the smell).

How interesting it worked. But there was the Catch 22, right? You couldn't concentrate on your chruch service with or without your rls meds, right? That's my Catch 22 also. The other one for me is that when I do take my Requip for church, I tend to fall asleep. Catch 22!! It doesn't happens as much ...

Hi, So were you low on any other vitamins or minerals? Do you take anything for acid-reflux? Have you considered being tested for Celiacs Disease? That is a condition where your system has trouble digesting gluten, found in some grains, and this causes your small intestine to not absorb nutrients pr...

Funny you should mention uninterrupted sleep. For the first couple months of taking Requip I had no trouble falling asleep, but after just 1 or 2 hours I would wake up and find it VERY hard to fall back and stay asleep. I mentioned it at work around the break room and someone at the break table said...

I take 1 mg in the early afternoon which is a half dose for me ('bout 3 pm) then a full dose of 2 mgs. around 9 pm, a couple hours before bedtime. I usually can manage my rls through the middle of the day if I keep busy. When I work I can do ...

Great replies! Thanks. Yeah, my rls is pretty much 24 hrs a day, but when I'm working I can usually take my mind off of it, if I alternate standing and sitting. It's been working better if I take .25 mg around the early afternoon. I was finding it impossible to sit at my home computer, or take a nap...

Who's taking Requip?

Just wondering how many of us are taking Requip? What doses are you taking? At what times of the day? Did you have trouble adjusting your sleep patterns to the Requip? I have been taking Requip since about Sept 07. I finally adjusted it to 1 mg in the early afternoon (3 or 4 pm) and my regular dose ...
