Re: How long does it take for your body to adjust to meds?
I have been taking neurontin for a week now. I am still so tired for about 14 hours after taking it. I am only taking 100mg of it an hour or so before bedtime. It does seem to help some, but as soon as the tiredness goes away, the RLS comes back. I am just wondering how long I should put up with th...

Re: Are the side effects of ferrous sulfate cumulative?
I've been taking ferrous sulfate (iron) pills for about a month now, as my ferritin level was 10. I was suprised that it hadn't made me feel sick, but lately I've been feeling a low grade queasiness for days and I don't know if its due to the iron (which has done absolutely nothing for my rls/plmd ...

You know, I wasn't really aware of how much iron I was taking, but after reading that Aiken was taking 65mg of elemental iron, I was curious to see what I was taking. I take 2 (per the doctor, although he didn't specify how many mgs, he just said to start with one pill and take two after one week) ...

ann, to be honest with you i am deathly afraid of mirapex... i've battled a gambling problem most of my life. i guess the risk is the same with requip. not sure, but I KNOW this physician WONT go for anything controlled, as he is taking me off clonazepam. there is a RLS specialist in Champaign/Urban...

tombob, what epidural was your wife given? sometimes a long acting narcotic is injected, sometimes a local anesthetic (i.e. lidocaine) is used. not sure if lidocaine would affect RLS, but a long acting narcotic (i.e. fentanyl) would surely help RLS. since it's been 2 years, the effects may have worn...
