Re: Erratic results with Gabapentin
It has been almost a month and Gaba works absolutely wonderful for me. It just works, without making me feel miserable or even sleepy. The symptoms just magically don't appear. I can't believe it.

Re: Getting off mirapex
I was taking 1mg Mirapex and hated this sh*t. Basically Mirapex makes me so miserable that the only option is to go to sleep, and that continues through next morning. A new doc suggested 300mg Gabapentin. From the first day I took it, I was able to completely forgo Mirapex and I love Gaba. It just w...

Just went to a new doctor yesterday for a routine physical and mentioned I wanted a refill of Mirapex. I am on 1mg Mirapex by prescription, and have been trying to lower the dose needed as much as possible, usually I was able to manage the condition, only with 0.5mg. As everyone knows Mirapex is a n...

I tried half of each - 1/2mg of Mirapex and 1mg of Requip - works like a dream - no symptoms during day or night, great sleep. ...

Oh, and I know that relaxing muscles and general relaxation, can help with RLS, so this could be the reason why hot tub works, but I don't think so - because, I am already a pretty relaxed person, I teach yoga, so I know how to relax when I go to bed, I relax my muscles very well, in fact this seems...

sleeping in pool works for me - anybody else?
Hello, I have RLS and take Mirapex, which works most of the time, but sometimes I still can't sleep. I found that even if I have RLS lying down in my bed, I can sleep in the hottub - I put on a life jacket, so I can float, and stick my legs out on the deck, so they anchor me and I don't float around...
