Important. Thank you for noting that.stainless wrote: A review coauthored by a doctor I had worked with in the past closed with "TOMAC is certainly not intended to eliminate the need for important pharmacological treatments for RLS including alpha-2-delta ligands, IV iron, and opioids."

Re: Managing RLS and Parkinson's
Good morning, Wondering if anyone has RLS and Parkinson's and how they are being managed with medications. Concerned about use of Sinemet along with Neupro patch, particularly for augmentation. Husband has been on Sinemet 25 mg three times a day since October 2022, Rotigotine patch 4mg nightly for ...

I like this news. Too often I assume it can't be done. Are you on nothing but gabapentin now?tagalongbuddy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 7:27 amFor about two years now, the neurologist slowly took me off the DA and increased the gabapentin. It has been pretty effective.

And yet - - there is always the chance that for some of us, there is a link. It is tempting to pooh-pooh it all, but I can't quite. viewtopic.php?p=105214#p105214

Re: Cured
At age 51 my RLS is cured. I had a stone stuck in my billiary system-distal common bile duct. MRCP showed dilation in the billiary system. I had an ERCP to remove the stone. I can drink coffee and eat chocolate with zero RLS symptoms. As far as I can tell a stone can disrupt digestion which is why ...

Re: Thank you for the welcome
So sorry your post wasn't answered earlier by anyone. The fexofenadine is a second-gen antihistamine, so it shouldn't make your WED/RLS worse. 35 is seriously low. As long as you avoid dopamine meds (levo-carbidopa/Sinemet, or dopamine agonists like pramipexol and ropinirole) you might find relief s...

Betty said "The fact that your doctor has not checked your Ferritin makes me wonder how experienced he is in the treatment of rls. Most of us find we need to be proactive in our treatment and educate our doctors." This is so true! Another sign that he doesn't know how to treat WED/RLS is that he let...
