Withdrawal syndrome from Mirapex or Requip?
Hi, Thanks for your responses. The opiates help to take care of the RLS/augmentation issues but what about the actual withdrawal symptoms from the DAs? I know that not everyone has horrible DA withdrawal symptoms when going off of them so I'm trying to figure out how common it is and if anything can...

Withdrawal syndrome from Mirapex or Requip?
Has anyone here experienced a withdrawal syndrome (DAWS) when stopping Mirapex, Requip or some other dopamine agonist? If so, how awful was it and how long did it continue? How did you resolve it?

Sudafed?
Yes, I'll definitely avoid the combination with antihistamines - though I've been able to take Zyrtec without a problem so far.

How do Sudafed and other noradrenergic meds affect RLS? Do I need to avoid them?

flu and RLS
Polar Bear, I didn't mean an anti-nausea patch, I meant a patch that would deliver medication to help me sleep - either neurontin, a dopamine agonist or a benzo. You are lucky if you've never had a flu. You must have a very strong immune system! SquirmingSusan, I've heard conflicting information abo...

flu and RLS
I'm terrified of getting the flu and not being able to take medication to help me sleep (when I need it the most). I wish I could get a patch or something to help me when I can't keep any medication down. Has anyone been in this situation and if/so do you have any answers?

I just looked up definitions and the short ones basically say that it's a problem with nerve function. Wikipedia has a lot more info on it and the article there says that there are different kinds of neuropathy with differing symptoms encompassing pain and numbness etc. It's such a broad categorizat...

One symptom I've been afraid to confront
I didn't even mention it to the doctor the other day because I don't have health insurance. If this is a sign of something more serious then I fear I would never be able to get health insurance. My three middle toes of my right foot feel kind of numb. Not painful and no detectable weakness. I can mo...

SquirmingSusan, Agomelatine and Trivastal are both much different than Stablon/tianeptine although Trivastal is made by the same company (the French company Servier) as Stablon. For some reason (probably political and/or monetary) we don't get approval of French drugs in this country. Stablon is a m...
