I disagree with the name change, but I'm a layperson. It seems to me we've just gotten recognition for what "restless legs" are. Now they change it to WED, which has no descriptive charactaristics. How many years will it take before anyone knows what "WED" means?

This is why taking some time off from those Dopamine drugs is important. Whatever it is you can find that works well enough to get you through a few nights, then you can go back and take them again. My Dr. just prescribed higher doses, and it's only thru this forum that I learned about augmentation.

My experience has been different with Indica types vs. Sativa. I prefer the Indicas I've had for RLS. But the main thing is that you should be trying to get the strain with the highest level of CBD in it, versus THC. THC is the element that produces the "high", and it can be very prevalent...

It DEFINITELY needs to be studied. I have gotten considerable relief from it, especially concentrating on the strains that are high in CBD, which doesn't produce a "high". We need to follow the science, not emotion and "that's the way we've always done it."
