Re: Neupro Patch

Debbluebird- I just got your message. For some reason, I can't message you back. I started taking Neupro in Sept. of last year, and it worked for a few days. I lost my insurance and was not able to keep taking it. I just started back on it last week. Started with the 2mg dose, and it worked okay du...

Re: World War III - I pushed the button

My daughter actually called me yesterday. I can't believe it. It's been a year since she called me. I guess my phone call to her and my e-mails helped. They are being transferred to Ft. Knox, Kentucky. She was there trying to find a place to live.

Re: Micro-Sleep

We will all be on pins and needles until you see that doctor and make it back home safely. I really hope they/he will have something new to do for you. When is the appt. again? I can't remember if you told us.

Re: Pramipexole

Most of us find that going cold turkey works better, but you have to have something to take instead. I don't know, since you say you can't take Methadone and Oxy. I'm so sorry for your situation. Have you tried Lyrica or Gabapentin to add to the Tylenol 3 ?

Re: Something This Way Comes

Glad you are wearing it. I'm the same way. I just hate it. But I feel so much better when I keep it on. They told me I wake up 90 times an hour. Hope the Mirapex lasts awhile longer for you.

Re: World War III - I pushed the button

I wrote an email to my son, his wife, and my wife today and apologized! I had some really good sleep the night before. Yes, I am going completely insane without sleep, no doubt about it. Sleep makes all the difference. My son called me today and all is well once again and we are going to our grandd...

Re: World War III - I pushed the button

I called my daughter today. She answered the phone. It's been almost a year since I spoke to her. We had a nice conversation. I didn't bring up any issues, because that's when she shuts down. They will be moving in a month to Kentucky. She is driving next week to go and find a house. I feel better s...

Re: Roller Coaster Ride

I am wondering what mg my sleep doctor wrote for? I will get the script in a week. I take a very small dose of Mirapex 0.125mg. I will have to look to see what most people start at.

Re: Pramipexole and serious side effects

I take 10 mg of oxy at night (around 9:30) with my evening meds and I am usually up until midnight then I sleep off and on until alarm goes off at 5:15. The problem is, at work, between 8 am and 11am I am falling asleep at my desk. I am fine in the afternoon. Today I decided to take my evening meds...

Re: Roller Coaster Ride

I got a surprise phone call today, from the assistant of my sleep doctor in Albuquerque. I live in Colorado. I recently sent him a note along with my labs that were done about a month ago or so. I usually call him every couple of months to keep him updated. First he is having me lower my iron to jus...

Re: Wait - do I have WED?

To answer your question of a confined position, I think that refers to being in a car, or a plane. Something like that. Sitting there for several hours. I get symptoms during both. Also the jerk may be PLMD Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. I have both, WED and PLMD. My symptoms sometimes start when ...
