Re: Characteristics of PLMD/PLMs

Well, with those definitions, I don't have PLMD. I have spasms.

Re: Back Surgery and RLS plus spasms

I'm 3 weeks post op later today. I'm having medium spasms on third night after mirapex wears off. So I'm able to sleep for two nights, third night I'm up. Pain is getting less. My legs ache a lot. Still on a lot of meds. Methadone, oxycodone, soma, gabapentin, Tylenol, all every eight hours and mira...

Re: Social Security - US

I had fibroid tumors that caused me to bleed years after my periods had stopped. Ended up having them removed.
Isn't fun getting older?

Re: Back Surgery and RLS plus spasms

I went to physical therapy yesterday. She did deep massage on my thigh. Muscles very tight. Then she did a heat treatment. Oh, all of that felt so good. Used heat that evening and night, intermittent. Best night I have had so far. Not as good tonight. That's the way it's been. This is just going to ...

Re: Published Research - General Sleep and RLS (WED)

I'm surprised there was no correlation between sleep deprivation and and RLS suicide plans. The times that I have been at my worst and sleep deprived, I just did not want to live. I don't live alone, but I had been alone I'm not sure what would have happened. On the other side, I have never felt tha...

Re: Prescription Price Differences

Steve, we get our opioids filled in Wyoming, because it is closer and more convenient for us. No issues so far.
The only thing that is costing me a lot is potassium.

Re: Social Security - US

I always figured it was inflammation that makes mine high. Especially since I have really bad osteoarthritis.

Re: total knee replacement

I take my DA every few days. Not daily. I do not want to augment again. Mirapex half tab .125 mg. It seems that's all I need.

Re: Just a rant

You might add magnesium. The sleep specialist had me do that. I take 400 my twice a day, over the counter, not a script. I think it helps me. I also just had a Laminectomy and back fusion of L 3,4,5. Waiting to see if that helps me.
Good luck

Re: total knee replacement

I had both knees done, 3 weeks apart. They should give you oxycodone that should last a week, then wean down the next week. It should help your RLS at least the first week. I don't remember when I was allowed to ride my recumbent bike. The bike helps me. At first they do give you exercises to do. Yo...
