Re: Insomnia

I'm a person who used to get 9 to 10 hours every night before RLS. I'm averaging much less now.

Re: Insomnia

I really hate insomnia just as much as leg issues. My legs are calm and have been for awhile. Now I just can't sleep. I'm able to sleep in the morning. I've limited that amount thinking it would help so I could go to sleep at night. This is my third night in a row. Usually it only happens every few ...

Re: Magnesium pills

Magnesium was prescribed for me by the RLS specialist in Denver. It also helps with constipation, if you take opioids.

Re: Riding the Big One (RLS 24/7, Hanging Ten)

I don’t understand what you are saying about Kratom? Kratom actually helped my RLS years ago but as the years went by my RLS became worse and Kratom didn’t help for it but still helps for depression. I was hoping that if my RLS has gotten better maybe I could end up only taking Kratom. I'm hoping t...

Re: Emergency Room Nightmare

My experience happened 2 or 3 years ago. I don't remember. My memory is getting worse.

Re: Emergency Room Nightmare

So sorry to hear about your experience. I understand totally. Too many Doctors just don't get it. I was admitted to a psych hospital on a Friday night for the same reason. My primary Doctor was off that day and it was the PA that got me into the mess. When I went to the ER, I was told by the PA, the...

So sorry to hear what happened to you. It does sound like exhaustion, plus sleep deprivation can cause all sorts of issues.

Re: Insomnia

Debs.... know it is, though he doesn't appear to have many of the symptoms. Now me, on the othor hand. For me at the time, I was not showing any symptoms of sleep apnea. My Doctor thought that the reason my RLS was getting worse was because of sleep apnea. The real reason was, that I was augmenting...

Re: Insomnia

My husband will snore regularly and sometimes this will waken me. Again I am well awake and get up and amuse myself util I am ready for bed again. I also read myself to sleep and so will go back often to a guest bedroom and not 'our' bedroom. Recently he has been sleeping poorly himself, waking up ...

Re: Insomnia

I can't take it either. Side affects are a fine line for me. Morphine and the derivatives. Not just itching, but vomiting too.
