I totally understand about not wanting to change what you are doing right now with your treatment ....I think this disease is so individualized and each one of us tweaks a med to what fits our needs and if what you are doing works then don't change it...and yes I will keep posting my journey ... sta...

I only know my feritin was 34 which was done 2 weeks ago ... I will be seeing Dr. P. At the end of the month and as about the transferritin....

I live in Alberta and just heard from my Dr. Yesterday and I can get the Iron infusions now!! Praise the Lord an answer to prayer! I have to get my feritin and hemoglobin done again and depending on where my levels are will depend when I get transfused. It may take as long as 9 months but to me that...

My RLS specialist is trying to present a paper to the head of hemotology in my province to get a go ahead. I am seeing my family Dr. tomm and asking if he can give me the iron infusions.

He was at an RLS convention this past June in the US and now it seems all the RLS specialists are using IV iron infusions to help RLS. I have been using oxeyneo the slow release for more than a year . 20mg at 6am and 20mg 6pm... 1.25 of miraprex ....than I started using 5mg oxycodone for breakthrough about 3 times in 24 hrs. My dr. thought I should up the oxyneo to 30mg 2x a day. That eventually also needed breakthrough 5mg oxycodo...

I was on 3mg a day at one time of the miraprex and have cut it on half now...this was the minimal amount I could be on......I tried to reduce it to less but my WED was worse....but maybe now its time to consider reducing again since I am on the oxyneo ....thanks for the input , I will seriously cons...
