Nectar bed helps sleep

My husband read the Nectar bed is supposed to help with RLS. It is a type of foam mattress and can be used with ad adjustable bed frame. We bought one and it does seem to help. Having my legs elevated a little bit makes it less likely for me to flop like a fish all night long. In the past sleeping i...

CBD bath salts

Has anyone tried CBD bath salts or other CBD products for relief of RLS? Soaking in a bath has helped relieve my symptoms (RLS and PLMD - also in my arms) in the past when I was desperate and could not sleep at night. I have not done this for awhile but recently tried some CBD bath salts. I soaked i...

Weighted Blankets

It has been awhile since I have been active on the RLS Discussion Board, but I am back. Recently I have been asked if a weighted blanket would help with night time RLS/PLMD. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this subject?

Re: Help - Wed/PLMD affect job

I am under the care of a neurologist. She seems to know quite a bit about RLS & she is very good to listen to what I have read about the disease. I have tried requip, tramadol, gabepetin, sinemet, amatryptoline, clonipin, etc. some I have tried twice but still didn't work. I have not taken opoid...

Re: Help - Wed/PLMD affect job

Ok - so it is 5:30 a.m. & I have been struggling all night. My legs are doing their thing making it impossible to sleep. I was trying the Neupro patch but I believe it was making my legs worse. Is that possible? I know I ripped the patch off a couple hours ago because I am so miserable. Back to ...

Re: My Sister

I am so sorry. I am new to this site but reading about this tugged my heart strings. Be gentle with yourself these next few weeks and listen to what your body is telling you. It is okay to grieve - and healthy to do so - and then focus on the blessing she was and the happy memories you made that wil...

Re: Neupro Patch

I will be anxious to learn if they approved your disability. You definitely should be approved. Your situation sounds similar to mine. I am recovering from a knee replacement and dread having to return to work. My boss is young and basically makes fun of my health issues or acts like they don't exis...

Help - Wed/PLMD affect job

I work full-time but am struggling due to sleep deprivation. Looking into going on permanent social security disability. Does anyone have any advice on how to apply and the key information needed from a doctor? Thanks for any ideas!
