I had read articles that Wellbrutrin was the best for RLS patients as well as anyone with PLM disorders. I got along fine with it and no exacerbation of RLS except it caused me to have hair loss. After reading these postings I think I will try to take citalopram and see if that does anything to RLS....

thank you for the above comments. I am Type II Diabetic and I us the Lantus insulin pen plus metformin and the doctor is wanting to add a pill to help control the Blood Sugar through out the day. the problem has been that the pills for diabetics that we have tried seem to exacerbate the RLS. I have a question about Blood Sugar and Diabetics. Does high BS worsen RLS? And, has anyone had RLS worsen with the Lantus Pen? Alice

I started taking Wellbrutrin and it realllly helped with relaxing and sleep at night and depression was much better , not to mention it helps with weight loss, however\, I started losing hair and I had to stop it.

Has anyone used the 24 xl release requip, which is now in generic form. Your Dr. can determine the mg's to give you. does anyone know if "nitroglycerin worsens RLS? Or any Blood Pressure Med? Or any anesthesia used in surgerys? I have had 8 surgerys in the last 2 years and had RLS reactions most times when they wanted me to be perfectly still afterword and I could not. I just don't know what the culprits were...
