Re: Low Dose Naltrexone for RLS
Hi Yawny, Yes, Dr. Weinstock’s work is fascinating. He did say that the LDN wouldn’t be effective unless both ferritin (>75) and Vitamin D levels are high. I would definitely try the LDN in the morning and see if it helps. Please let us know how you go! Unfortunately I don’t think I can take both th...

Re: Low Dose Naltrexone for RLS
Hi Yawny, Have you tried taking the LDN in the morning? Some people get excellent results and find taking it in the morning doesn't disturb sleep. I was just about to add a link to an interview with Dr. Leonard Weinstock, who has been getting excellent results using low dose nalrexone. It’s a fascin...

Re: Trying to get off of Kratom
I have been taking Kratom daily now for exactly two years and don’t have any side effects and I haven’t increased my dosage either. I only take it at night .. when I symptoms start up, which is usually an hour or so before bed. I also take it when I wake up during the night, which is generally once ...

Re: Kratom is working for me
Hi Nellie, I'm so happy to hear that Kratom is still working for you. I've now been taking it for almost 2 years and it still is incredibly effective at relieving RLS. I am taking the "red vein Borneo" strain and really haven't needed to increase the dose, but I can't go a night without it...

Re: Kratom is working for me
Hi Nellie, I'm so happy to hear that the Kratom seems to be working well for you. Like Mary, I have been taking Kratom for about a year and a half now and I haven't increased my dosage over that time. I also take the Red Vein Borneo strain which has the highest pain-killing and sedating properties. ...

Hi Snoman, This is my third order from Bikhuk and I have never had an problems. I have tried a few samples from other vendors, but I have found Bikhuk's "Borneo Red Vein" the most effective. I am currently living in Tokyo Japan and it seems to take about a week. It gets shipped from Indone...

Hi Snoman, I’m also so glad to hear that you have found kratom is working for you. Like Mary, I’ve been taking it for over a year now and I’ve found it to be incredibly effective for managing my WED. I take about half a teaspoon to a teaspoon about an hour before bed or if my symptoms start earlier,...

Re: Seem to have found relief. 7-keto & Epi+
HI PeaceAngel, There was a post about the MTHFR gene mutation and WED (RLS) on the Australian Restless leg forum a little while ago. Here is a link: m How soon did you notice the supplements working? And what dosage are you taking of the 7 Keto Dhea and the Epi+ a day? Morning or evening? I'm so hap...

Hi Victor,
Most vendors do ship worldwide.
I’m living in Tokyo and have ordered a few times from Bikhuk and found them to be very reliable. I have also ordered from Madam Kratom in Canada too.
It is legal in Ireland.
All the very best wishes!

Re: Kratom and Blood Pressure
I was doing a little reading last night and the Kratom plant contains a specific alkaloid or a chemical (called corynoxeine) that acts as a calcium channel blocker. Calcium channel blockers lower blood pressure, so it could certainly be the Kratom. I naturally have low blood pressure, and it doesn’t...

Re: Kratom Update
I just wanted to add that have been taking Kratom exclusively to control my WED now for almost 10 months. The Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) plant itself is from the same plant family as the coffee plant, but from what I understand, it is the only non-opioid plant to work on opioid receptors. There are...

Re: Success using Chinese herbal preparations.
Hi AussieRodney, That’s great to hear you are having success with Chinese herbal medicine. There are actually several studies on some Chinese and Japanese herbal formulas and WED (RLS)… they are a little different to the ones you are taking, but they do contain Peony and Bupleurum. You can buy them ...

Re: Article on Kratom
Hi Beth, I would also like to add that I take Kratom in half-teaspoon doses and if I take too much more and I feel nauseous. I put it in a little shaker and add water with a little pomegranate juice. I haven’t tried it personally, but from what I understand the Maeng Da strain tends to be more stimu...

Re: Article on Kratom
Sharing information and experiences are absolutely essential and I am so grateful to have found this forum and also to know that someone else is taking it daily too. The first time I tried Kratom, it didn't seem have any effect, but I persevered thanks to the information shared by Mary. Thank you Ma...
