Re: Dipyridamole

I take 600 mg gabapentin on most nights. But I found that when I take it early on I don't seem to notice any benefit. I now take it around 2AM or 3AM if I am having difficulty and it seems to be helpful most of the time.

Re: Cold medicine

Dr. B. told me some antihistamimes are OK. Benadryl is an anticholinergic drug. Claritin and allegra are two of the ones that are OK. They are not anticholinergic. They also have them in generic forms. I also take vitamin C, zinc , vitamin D, Vitamin K, and copper. These all help your immune system....

Re: Sleeping on the floor vs. In bed

I usually put a couple of towels down and a pillow. I think it may be because it is a hard surface.

Sleeping on the floor vs. In bed

One thing I seem to have found out is that when my symptoms are not in good control with meds that I am able to sleep better on the floor than in bed. I first notuced this when I would be foam rolling in the middle of the night and then I would later wake up, realizing that I had fallen asleep while...

Re: dipyramidol 75mg for RLS

I tried dipyramidol. But unlike Holland, who I believe it helped, it made me worse, significantly worse; I had some of my worst nights ever. So if you try it be careful.

Re: Keto & RLS

I was on keto for about 4 months in 2014. I did not take any meds during that time and my RLS was under control. But after 4 months it stopped working. I started it again in December of 2019 and have been doing it since then. My RLS is worse now and it did not totally control my symptoms this time. ...

Re: Side effects from all opioids

I rotate from methadone to mirapex .25 mg, 300 mg gabapentin and alprazolam .5mg to 1.5mg, depending on how well it is working. After augmentation I developed jerking and the alprazolam does a reasonable job of stopping the jerking. The problem with alprazolam is you develop a tolerance for it and i...

Re: Buprenorphine vs Methadone

I have taken both. One of the side effects of Buprenorphine is muscle tightness and pain. Although this is not a common side effect, I experienced this side effect. It built up slowly over time and eventually became intolerable. I switched to methadone and I tolerate it much better - no alerting and...

Re: Fasting, keto and lectin free diet

I did a version of keto back in 2014. It helped my RLS. I didn't take any RLS meds during that time. After four months my symptoms came back and I stopped the keto. I was doing a version of dirty keto where I kept eating oils like soybean oil in salad dressing. Last December my wife and I started do...

Re: Medication for irregular use

I found that alprazolam worked for me for the short term when I was younger. However at my current age the side effects of mental confusion make it an undesirable alternative.

Re: myoclonus

My myclonus increased a lot after I augmented the first time. After not taking a DA for a long period of time pramapraxole helped to reduce the amount of myoclonus I have prior to sleep and during sleep. I augmented a second time in 2017 and my myoclonus became even more severe. I occasionally take ...

Re: Wahls diet for WED? Trying it.

Thanks for the good wishes. Even though the film worked pretty good when I was still taking a higher dose of the alprazolam, things are not that great presently. I am trying not to go up too fast on the belbuca, because I want the effects of the alprazolam to wear off first, so I don't end up taking...

Re: Experience with Injectafer?

Glad to hear that it has helped so much. Hope you can overcome the hiccup. Even if you had to keep at a low level of kratom, I think this could be considered an excellent result.

Re: Suboxone questions

Wantok, Nervousness is a side effect of both of the drugs in suboxone. So there is no way to tell other than to try the belbuca to see if it would be any better. When I was taking the sublingual buprenorphine, I misunderstood and thought it was generic suboxone. Later I read up on it and realized wh...
