Re: Foam Rollers

I have the same roller which I really like, however, I have had no improvement with my WED. Nothing helps. My legs feel better while I'm using it, but as soon as I stop, I feel like crap again 24/7.

Bad pain in leg

I was hoping some of you might be able to guide me a little with whatever knowledge / experience you may have. I have an appointment with a second neurologist on Tuesday - hoping he can help me because I have already seen 2 neurologists, a neurosurgeon & a chiropractor. To make a long story shor...

Re: Zoloft contribute to RLS?

Thank you everyone for your responses! It's so nice just to have this board where you know people "get it"! I have seen my GP who referred me to this neurologist, which makes me doubt him now as she turned out so bad! My GP admits he doesn't know a whole lot about this, so getting him to p...

Re: Really bad mood

I'm a grump, too. I am not on any medications for RLS right now thanks to Horizant not being available, so I can't blame the drugs! I'm cranky because I'm in constant discomfort & pain with this disease. I'm so sick of it & the doctors that don't help are frustrating me.

Zoloft contribute to RLS?

I went to my neurologist yesterday for another consult regarding not being able to obtain Horizant. She didn't even know that it wasn't available until June at the earliest. I have been without my medication now for 1 1/2 months. She gave me a sample pack of gabapentin, but I'm a bit nervous to star...

Re: Finding a good doctor

Thank you guys, for responding to my desperateness! I just contacted Mayo Clinic in AZ to see if they can get me in for a total rundown. It takes a few days to hear back, but I'm desperate. I am totally cranky today with getting very little sleep the past few nights. Geez, I'm trying everything &...

Finding a good doctor

I just wanted to get some opinions on finding a decent & competent doctor to treat RLS. My general practice doctor readily admits to not knowing too much about this disease & wasn't really a whole lot of help. He referred me to a neurologist listed on the website, however, it is a long wait ...

Re: New to this board but need serious advice!

Thank you both for responding so quickly! I truly appreciate any help I can get. I will make appointment to get serum ferritin checked - I have never heard of that and of all the doctors I have seen, not one has mentioned it. I will also order that book - I have two others on the way. As far as the ...

Re: Horizant Shortage

I have the same problem. Unable to find it anywhere (called multiple pharmacies). I feel so annoyed & aggravated as I am out. Tried unsuccessfully for 3 weeks to find it. It is impossible!

New to this board but need serious advice!

I have had RLS for a few years now & I am having a serious problem trying to find answers and some relief. I am a 48 year old female in good health aside from minor stuff any normal person has at this age! I have seen a couple of general practioners, 2 neurologists & a neurosurgeon, plus had...
