Re: Methadone and Gabapentin no longer working well
Deb, the pure CBD oils can be rather pricey (I know because my wife uses them). For a first time experiment, you might consider trying a 50/50 THC/CBD edible since they cost much less. The high level of CBD inhibits the intoxicating part of the THC, so most do not feel any sort of high feeling. The ...

Re: Epidiolex
Sorry that they are not available in NJ. I don't use CBD but my wife does. She prefers a product from Charolette's Web, but it is pricey. But it is available in our dispensaries in Colorado.

Re: Epidiolex
You will have to try it out in order to know. Epidolex is supposed to be almost totally CBD (they can't get all of the THC out). But if you are smoking a high CBD marijuana, you probably still have a high THC content. So it might not be the same. If you can get it, a CBD tincture would probably be c...

Re: Calm Legs
It took a bit of digging, but I finally found the ingredients in Calm Legs. It has a small amount of iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Folic Acid, Magnesium, Vitamin B-12 and Valerian. Might help if you are deficient in one of these (except that 8mg of iron isn't going to do much), but certainly not somet...

Pending approval for CBD Oil by the FDA?
This announcement appeared today. It appears that the FDA may be on the verge of approving CBD oil for the treatment of pediatric epilepsy. Of course, once it is on the market, it will be used off label for many other purposes. Approval will also increase the pressure on the FDA to remove marijuana ...

Re: Progress with my local doctor?
Final update on this thread. I met with the Nurse Practitioner at my new doctor's office for the second time today. He will be my primary care provider since he can write prescriptions for opioids. When I first met with him last month, I left a copy of the Mayo Clinic publication on using opioids fo...

Re: Requip and Sleep Quality
I agree with Holland and will add my recent experience to his comments. I have been in the process of changing my PCP during the last six weeks. The change was necessary because I finally found one locally who is willing to write scripts for opioids. The only condition is that he wants monthly urine...

Re: CELL PHONES - ENGINEER - WARRANTY !!
I just got an email from the airline asking for feedback about my delayed flight. I always suspect that these emails are fishing for complements about how well they handled the situation. Well, if that is what they wanted, they most definitely did not get it. I rarely give choose either the best or ...
