Re: Retitled: Phase II, let it begin.
Hi, I just saw all these posts, and what you wrote to begin this all was brilliant! About 6 months ago, I decided to go off Horizant, which I had been taking for 2 years. The side effects were finally just too much; my balance was terrible and I was falling. I had to stop work/everything and pay att...

Re: RLS and TENS... my story
I'm not sure my quick reply went through, but the clothing sounds wonderful and I bet it would help WED/RLS, at least it would help me! Today the wrist stimulator saved me when I was sitting on a NYC subway for longer than usual because of train problems.

TENS stimulation for WED/RLS: Effective parameters
Current effective TENS placements and parameters documented for two people with RLS (idiopathic, one for approx. 30 yrs, one for approx 3 yrs; mild to moderate symptoms): location, location, location, it's important for a house and for a TENS electrode. 1) On the back of the legs, between the knee a...

Re: RLS and TENS... my story
Some time ago, a few years, I got a Tens machine to use on my shoulder, never could decide if it helped much. ... And because I have WED symptoms from the groin down and also in my arms... well there was lots of choice for placement. ...This discussion about placement is very interesting. It is lik...

Re: RLS and TENS... my story
Exactly, ViewsAskew! I would love to hear from everyone who has tried TENS or who is using it. I see it as an important adjunct that may reduce drug requirements. At least one person I know of uses it exclusively. From people who use it on this discussion group, I would like to know their symptoms, ...

Re: So good to find this group!
Thanks for the welcome. Horizant is supposed to come out soon in a lower dose, 100 mg vs. 300 mg, and maybe more people will be able to tolerate it. I might try it again sometime as an adjunct to TENS therapy I hope I don't have to, though.

Re: RLS and TENS... my story
George! You're with this group! I just found your website a few days ago through the RLS group on Facebook and I tried your location of the electrodes on the legs (hamstrings) for the first time last night. It was instant relief. I left it on for three hours and slept wonderfully. So far today, at n...

So good to find this group!
Hi, I can see it's going to take me a while to read and absorb all the information on this website and through the group! Thanks so much for creating the group and for such good basic posts. I was diagnosed two years ago. I'm 68. But I now realize that I have had a mild case for at least 10 years be...
