Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) Discussion Board

When I am having a RLS "fit" for lack of a better word, I go through many emotions, including crying. I wish that doctors would totally address all of what RLS does to us. One medication, clonazepam, causes the pain to get worse in me before I fall asleep.

I have sweated mostly at night but sometimes in the daytime. I had not associated it with the meds, I take mirapex and clonazepam, but maybe that is why. I was wondering if any one else have severe pain after taking meds until falling asleep. I take mirapex and clonazepam and my legs hurt terribly and I don't fall asleep until around 4 or 5 hours after I have taken the meds.

I can relate to the eating. Last night was one of those nights where I was in such turmoil from the rls that I found myself snacking. I also take mirapex and it seems to be wearing off. I really hate this disease and cry a lot. Thanks for being there.
