Re: 2 STUDIES: Yoga produced significant improvement in RLS symptoms and severity

I'm in excellent shape. Practice yoga, lift weights, walk 7k or more most days, swim laps. But it's my gabapentin and codeine that allow me to get six hours of broken sleep each night. Before gabapentin I was up half the night crying.

Re: 2 STUDIES: Yoga produced significant improvement in RLS symptoms and severity

I've been practising yoga for years. The only time I get a benefit for my RLS is in the middle of the night, otherwise not.

Good luck. There's nobody in New Zealand but some younger GPs know about RLS. I was lucky to find one.

Re: Transitioning

I take 1,000mg of gabapentin two hours before going to bed. That's in addition to 2 x 60mg codeine, once an hour before bed then on my first wake up call around two hours after getting to sleep. That drug arrangement seems to do the trick for me even though I rarely sleep more than two hours at a ti...

Sounds like an interesting bood.
A friend had pulmonary fibrosis in his early fifties. He was too sick to get a lung transplant so he died. He was ever hopeful of a lung transplant which was good for his mental health.

Congratulations. Fresh fruit and veggies are the best.
I eat lots of fruit but not much in the way of vegetables. I know it should be the other way around.

Re: Oxycodone dose, Sinemet questions

That's the way it is with Sinemet and other dopamine agonists. At first we think a miracle has occurred but then it turns to the absolute opposite—hell on earth.

I can't imagine any doctor prescribing 12mg of ropinerole. He/she has a lot of learning to do.
