UPDATE
I have used kratom for almost 6 months now. It still works wonders, and I have not had to increase my dosage. I ended up taking about 2 tsp each night and have stuck with that for at least 4 months. I prefer a half-and-half mixture of Primo Indo and Premium Bali -- the Indo is better-tasting (less b...

Re: Kratom is working for me
Thanks! Update: with the teaspoon (lower) dose, I slept like a baby and actually woke up earlier than usual, feeling totally refreshed.
Now, I'm going to to try to only use the Kratom when my RLS kicks up so I don't develop a tolerance or addiction. Hopefully it won't be very night!

Re: anxiety and WED
I do believe there is a connection between anxiety and RLS (or WED). It seems as though when my mind is racing, my legs feel worse. When I feel calm, I am less likely to have RLS that night.

Re: Melatonin
I've taken melatonin for years, both regular and prolonged release. I take 5mg per night. It does help make me sleepy, but it does nothing for my RLS.

Re: Your RLS is not a disease. It's a blessing in disguise
Chronic inflammation may cause RLS, but that's not the only cause. For me, RLS is just a huge pain, literally!

Kratom is working for me
Having suffered off and on with RLS for about 25 years now, I tried all the recommended natural supplements -- potassium, magnesium, "restful legs" (not sure what this is made of), to name a few. Sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. I finally told my primary care doctor about m...

Re: Kratom working for now...
Thanks! I'm down to 0.5 mg ropinrole per night -- the most I was taking was 0.75 mg. Already it seems my RLS is better, or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I'm trying kratom tonight. I'll post my results tomorrow.

Re: Kratom working for now...
Thank you for posting this. I have been experiencing augmentation with ropinrole (Requip) and my RLS has been steadily worse. I had a medical procedure (non-RLS related) and was under conscious sedation with memory erasing meds. I woke up with a big bruise on my shin -- they told me my restless legs...
