Re: GENERIC VS GENERIC

Is there a physical difference between the pills? Maybe one has a coating or some sort of delivery method that is causing the issue. My understanding is the active ingredients should be identical.

Re: My journey to get off Mirapex and use cannabis instead

I would love to see how this is going if you check back in. I might go the same route in the end, though I'm already on a much higher dosage of Gabapentin (1800). The only thing I find with cannabis as a solution is once you have built up a tolerance you almost have to force yourself to smoke enough...

Re: Another year of relief

I'm struggling with the discrepancies between lists. I can't seem to find one that tells me I can eat all the pretzels I want in the middle of the night. But then again I guess the plan is to NOT be awake at all to eat the pretzels. I'm still (very annoyingly) still dealing with this withdrawal crap...

Re: Another year of relief

Thank you for the additional info. I'm planning on giving the diet a try in the near future. I still just need my body to stabilize from the withdrawal. I'm on day 13 and still feeling physical symptoms. I don't want to start and then judge anything until I can with blank slate.

Re: Kratom is working for me

Hi JMG416. I'm sorry that kratom is not working for you anymore and I am very curious what the side effects were. I've taken kratom every day for the last three years, and have only had a bit of constipation, which I can manage. Perhaps you were taking more? I take usually 6-8 grams a day. My probl...

Re: Depression....again

You seem so positive towards everyone who is suffering on this forum. I'm so sorry you are dealing with depression. It's part of the reason I'm back here. Kratom started to cause significant depression for me along with a bunch of other side effects. It's amazing how much depression edits the way yo...

Re: Another year of relief

First off, thanks so much for posting this along with your original post. I know you can't give any sort of definitive answer, but how long would one expect it to take to see any results from this. I'm just getting off Kratom now and desperately need to find a solution that isn't pretending to be Bo...

Re: Kratom is working for me

I have been using Kratom for the past 5 days now, while I have been withdrawing from the dopamine Agonist neupro. I mix three-quarters of a teaspoon with approximately two tablespoons of grapefruit juice, let it sit at least 20 minutes and make sure it's ice cold before drinking it. The bitterness ...

Re: Trying to get off of Kratom

I have been taking Kratom daily now for exactly two years and don’t have any side effects and I haven’t increased my dosage either. I only take it at night .. when I symptoms start up, which is usually an hour or so before bed. I also take it when I wake up during the night, which is generally once...

Re: Quitting Oxycodone

I'm in the exact same boat as you, except with kratom. And I've learned that my limit for not sleeping due to RLS is no more than 2 weeks. I can handle the initial withdrawal as bad as it is, knowing it won't last forever. But night after night of sleeplessness I can only tolerate for so long. I rea...

Re: Trying to get off of Kratom

It's so hard for some of us to find something reasonable. Seems crazy that we should have to go through this... Hope you find a way to make it work. I definitely am one to have dependence very easily. I combat it by switching between meds. I take an opioid part time and a dopamine agonist part time...

Re: Trying to get off of Kratom

It's one of the more problematic aspects of taking any drug, but likely more so those that aren't researched. There can be so little to go on. I wonder if you've become physically dependent and you go through withdrawal during the day, so you want to take it to remove the uncomfortable withdrawal s...

Re: Trying to get off of Kratom

That is my exact problem. I have no plan currently that I can see getting me off the kratom. That's why I was thinking tramadol might be the solution. The side effect that is my main issue with kratom is that it affects my tongue. It causes my papillae to grow. Not only does this look gross, I feel ...

Trying to get off of Kratom

I have been dealing with RLS for over 10 years at this point. Unfortunately I believe I have made it much worse for myself, and don't know which way to turn. I started on a small dose of Gabapentin, which over the years turned into a large daily dose. (600mg morning/ 1200mg night). This helped reduc...

Re: Kratom working for now...

I just joined this forum to discuss and get input on what I am currently dealing with with my WED. As I was browsing I saw this kratom related thread, and thought I should give some input. To start with, I'm a big fan of kratom if used properly and not abused. But I can say with 100% certainty it ca...
