Re: Tele-medicine from Quality Care Centers

However, with that said, I got the impression that the idea would be brought up at the next advisory board meeting. But that was mostly me reading between the lines that they didn't want to make any promises of getting it onto the agenda. Steve, thanks for the clarification and moving this forward ...

Re: Tele-medicine from Quality Care Centers

Beth, before I read your response, I consulted with my husband about the Foundation's response (he has 25 year's experience in IT), and he said the same thing as you. Here's an idea...Maybe the Foundation could encourage a pilot program at just one of the Quality Care Centers? Is it worth suggesting...

Re: Tele-medicine from Quality Care Centers

That's a really great idea. In the last few years I've had several doctors, an OBGYN and a functional medicine doc, and a I think a few others, tell me that they don't understand RLS, but if an expert were to prescribe a plan for me then they'd fill the prescriptions. I love the idea of everyone bei...

Re: Crocheting!

You know, vomited yarn could be very Pollack . LOL that made me snort laugh...visually it does resemble a Pollock, and conceptually an Andres Serrano. I just want him to use the litter box but you know how artists can be. At the risk of hijacking this thread for discussing non-artistic activities w...

Re: Crocheting!

There is something special about yarn...I have a bucket of it that I bought years ago for craft projects and it's so aesthetically pleasing to look at. Recently, I had to remove the yarn to a tall furniture piece to keep it out of my cat's way. He was pulling it out and I'd find the most interesting...

Re: Medical Marijuana

LOL, good point...my mother grew up raising bunnies and then eating them. They were the family's pets as all the kids played with them. She said after she got older, the realization hit her hard. She got me a bunny when I was young and it was my doll as I carried it everywhere in the hood on my coat...

Re: Vent

I seem to be afraid of a lot of crap! Are you possibly my long lost twin? I totally get it. I bought a bunch of Kratom, it arrived, and just sat untouched for at least a month. Finally I got desperate and tried it. It still makes me somewhat nervous, but not much doesn't. Recently, after yet anothe...

Re: Vent

Leggo, I find kratom far more helpful than MMJ. I could do without MMJ but I would find it difficult to manage without kratom what with central sleep apnea rendering opioids undesirable for me. Legs, what's the longest duration of effectiveness that you get from Kratom? I tried it several times, tw...

IRON INFUSIONS...I haven't seen it myself, but heard from another member here that the recent webinar "What is RLS?" with Dr William Ondo, recorded May 17, 2017, discusses different types of infusions.

Re: Vent

Leggo, I believe your symptoms are similiar to mine (the main monster is PLMD). Recently I've been experimenting with Baclofen with some success. I say some because I have other issues (food sensitivities) complicating sleep. I take 5mg at 30 minutes before bed and I sleep anywhere between 5-6 hours...

Re: Medical Marijuana

I wrote most of the following (there are some updates) in another non-MMJ thread and it was suggested to put a copy here for reference... I can't use THC, because it activates my mind and keeps me awake, so I convert all my cannabis to CBN. This explains CBN well: ‪What is CBN‬... m The oven is too ...
