Jumpy,

Ya got a point there. My medical record is my business. So is the blood test. I do have the right to that knowledge.

Just my 2 cents worth, but I've got to keep my eyes open for that, Jumpy. It's really interesting to see what others go through with rls. I don't have it as bad as you guys and I do sympathise with all of you. I'm wondering if I have it at all. My feet twitch every so often. I still don't have the r...

Speaking of the urge not to walk, when my legs start to move or twitch, I really don't do anything about it. I put up with it. The reason for this is because I hate to stand! I want to be off my feet. I really don't have a severe case or rls. At least not now. A couple of years ago, it was a little ...

I've taken Tylenol pm before and always get a burst of energy after taking it if I go to bed right after taking it. I find in order for that burst of energy NOT to happen I've got to wait until the medicine takes effect and I get completely groggy I have to go to sleep. I don't know if this will hel...

I take melatonin every night. To my knowledge it has not effected my rls, if that's what I have.

What causes rls? Or is that the million dollar question? Who gets it?

I guess we'll see what happens with me. I just hope mild exercise is enough. But we all have things we'd rather not deal with.

Thank you for replying Jan. Right now, my rls is not that active. I'm greatful for that. It's annoying when it starts up. And there's people out there who don't seem to get a rest from it. I have met a person who get it sometimes. I don't know what she has done about it. Maybe it's only mild for her...

Wow! I'm surprised. I have rls figured wrong. I thought only people who stood all day long only got it. I found out otherwise coming here. People who sit down get it too. And now with your post, I find out people who are active and move around a lot get it too. This discussion board is very informat...

My theory

And I could be and probably am wrong about my thinking on rls. Perhaps those who don't use their legs much to move around are effected. I stand mostly all day and don't move much.

Is there anyone here who is active, moves around a lot, and has rls?

I was just wondering. Everybody seems to get along so well.

I used to belong to a Fraiser news group and trolls were there sometimes and disrupted everything.

I belong to other discussion groups and there are moderators and those who own the forum and they stop potential bad posters.

You also mentioned Tylenol pm contributes to rls. At one time I took that and still do when needed, but one time when I was having the rls frequently a couple of years ago, I did take the tylenol pm and both legs got jittery at the same time. I never had that happen before nor since. Maybe all I hav...

Ok, now where was I? I don't know what my ferritin level is. I don't know about magnesium. I do not smoke, haven't for quite sometime, I do drink coffee. I have 2 cups a day for 5 days (when working) one cup the other 2 days when I'm off and I love chocolate. I do take Alegra D twice a day. My summa...
