Re: DEA Making Kratom a Schedule 1 Drug

I am absolutely distraught about this. I have been using kratom for the past few months and am off all pharmaceuticals. I am curious if others plan to stock up and freeze it?

Re: Horizant causing insomnia?

I found that even at 300 I felt pretty bad the next day. As I have noted in other threads, I have been able to completely control my PLMD with kratom (and cannabis to help me fall asleep)

Re: Kratom- avoiding addiction/intelligent use/other's experiences

I take 0.125mg mirapex, 50mg gabapentin, 720mg Kratom and 14mg THC 2 hours before bed. I take 50mg gabapentin, 360mg Kratom and 7mg THC approximately 4 to 5 hours later. It took a couple of months of nightly experimentation before I was able to settle on this combination of medicines at these doses...

Re: Kratom- avoiding addiction/intelligent use/other's experiences

I don't know very much about the use of kratom. It did not do much for me last year when I tried it, but I was seriously augmenting at the time and probably was not using enough. But I do have a couple of thoughts for you about addition. 1. Addiction and physical dependence are two different things...

Kratom- avoiding addiction/intelligent use/other's experiences

All, As noted in another thread, I am off medications and only using kratom. I am taking 5-7 grams before bed (depending on strength of batch) and then I take another gram at 3:30 am. The larger dose certainly has a psychoactive effect. The lower dose wasn't helping me fall asleep but was controllin...

Re: Short term use of Mirapex (stopping kratom)- will it be hard to get off again?

Thanks for sharing. Working with these plant medicines has been life changing for me (from a spiritual perspective). San Pedro is Mescaline containing, Ayahuasca is not. Ayahuasca is the most chemically complex naturally occurring psychedelic and contains an MAO inhibitor. There have been a few deat...

Short term use of Mirapex (stopping kratom)- will it be hard to get off again?

I have mentioned in a previous thread that I have been managing my PLMD exclusively with Kratom. I will be going to Peru to participate in Ayahuasca and San Pedro Ceremonies. I have been on Mirapex safely when I have participated in these ceremonies in the past- also my Shaman has access to a physic...

Re: Kratom has been nothing short of miraculous

I am so glad it is working for you! I've been using kratom for the last three years to manage my RLS. Outside of some vitamins, it's the only thing I use. I wonder if you would be willing to share your story with the American Kratom Association. Here is their Facebook address: m Their goal is to ke...

I tried the link and it said it was no longer there. Is there another way to access this document?

Thanks,

Kratom has been nothing short of miraculous

All, I wanted to share my experience with Kratom: Background - I have Periodic Limb Movement Disorder...not RLS. I took Mirapex for about 7 years and over the last year it hasn't been as effective. Over the past few months I have tried multiple opiates (not very large doses to due my doc being conse...

Re: Marijuana and Sleep

I mean no disrespect but there are lots and lots of people who use cannabis daily and don't seem to suffer long term physical issues There are not many studies of long-term daily users, as you might know, so it's not generally possible to say what the effects would be under any given circumstances....

Thanks!

Re: Can I use klonopin with Kratom

Holland, The gabapentin I have is 300 mg capsules- when I took one it didn't really help me sleep- it just made me feel crappy the next day. That said, it won't hurt to try. They make 50mg capsules of gabapentin?? I normally vaporize MMJ bed and also take an edible at the same time (for me edibles t...
