Re: Two hours of sleep
Reading this thread is reminding me of the struggles of invisible disability. This thread is normalizing my life experience, for sometimes I don't feel I have accomplished much in my life. People with disabilities (I don't like that word much but not sure how else to say it) struggle every day to do...

Re: that feeling
Legs, thanks, yeah. What a bummer. Last night I took the Tramadol which I alternate with Norco. I woke up, I kid you not, every 2 hrs last night!!! It sucked. I have to try to figure out if it's the hot flashes or meds not being effective. I'm not sure. I'm going to have to start keeping a sleep jou...

Yawny, good point re: the value of the home. Thanks for reminding me of that. I am suuuper excited as installation is now only 2 days away! I am literally counting the days to when I won't have to be recording on my cell phone every time I take my dog out to potty. Yankiwi, wow. I am so sorry to hea...

Re: that feeling
My "warning sign" (if you can call it that, as I'm WELL on my way when it happens) is wanting to scream when I find junkmail in my mailbox! I've also struggled with depression throughout my life. Ticked off right now because my insurance didn't like the dose my doctor wanted me on for the ...

Steve, ah geez! Isn't that how it goes. That's quite an assertive cat!
I felt a bit better after I got going today. Hopefully tonight will be better.

that feeling
We have all been there. Today is that day for me. I needed sleep so bad last night. Went to bed eay. Was already feeling so emotional last night. Awful quality of sleep. Woke up with back spasm and feeling more emotional than last night. That feeling when you have one nerve left. No reserves to cope...

Re: Checking in, a hodge podge
badnights, Wow, augmentation in under a week. How rotten! I have also had symptoms since I was a kid. I used to kick the covers off my sister if we shared a bed in a hotel. I got in big trouble, but nobody thought to take me to the doctor. I was diagnosed in September 2016 after I started taking off...

yawny, Awful. I'm sorry you have to deal with similar stuff. Thanks for the ideas of the door stick and lights! I have the lights for the front but it's on my list to get them for the side. I have to run wiring but with the expense of the cameras and security I have to wait. I am spending too much o...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
Thank you for all the suggestions. Numbers info is right. I think stereotypes and prejudice are relevant--I am a middle aged single woman living alone. I don't have cats anymore, but you get the idea. I don't know how you can mediate with antisocial nutjobs, but my attorney is talking about that. Th...

Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
The renters next to me have made it their personal project to harass me ever since I asked them to turn down their loud music and called the Sheriff when they did not. First, they started throwing their cigarette butts over the fence into my yard. When I called the Sheriff about that, they lied and ...

45 is young - very young It's been quite some time since anyone called me young! Thanks! Views, I suspect I have very mild WED/RLS too. Triggered mostly situationally, like on a long flight , I get it in my whole body and am like almost convulsing and impulsively thrashing about. And other mostly i...

Re: Quitting Neupro Cold Turkey
What awfulness that your cpap makes your rls worse! I have both sleep apnea and PMLS. My PMLS was only diagnosed because my doc ordered an in lab sleep test when I started suddenly removing my mask in my sleep after years of wearing it ok! Now with the norco I take I don't remove my mask and I wake ...

Re: How to get dr to listen?
What is really ridiculous about this war on opiods is that they're creating "addictive" behaviors, such as lying, in people who are not addicted! Totally not judging you. When systems are broken, people have to get their needs met however they can. I understand the feeling of desperation f...

Re: How to get dr to listen?
I haven't heard of augmenting on tramadol before. I am surprised! I use it 2-3 times a week for PMLS. The rest of the time I take norco.
Totally sympathetic to your dr troubles. Don't worry how it looks, you have no control over that. Just get a new one.
