Re: Vulnerable

badnights, Thanks for your reply. I gave up and started the prednisone along with the sucky meds. Seems to help a bit already. We lost our contract...but company may appeal since another one lowballed unrealistically. Maybe another week before we know for sure what will happen. So glad I have the ba...

Re: Moving Mayhem

But, this summer I was so hot and wanted sandals. I am paying the price.[/quote]

I've had good luck with Romika sandals. Not cheap but I can walk miles.

Re: Moving Mayhem

Hi Ann! How stressful for the market to have tanked exactly at the wrong time. Sounds like you are very organized and handling it well though. I will be keeping you in my thoughts during this ordeal. You are moving to CA in the best season in my opinion! Beautiful weather here in the fall.

Re: Vulnerable

I try to remember the feeling of when this happens - of when I turn the corner. If I work hard, I can recall them later when I am at my worst. This is a good point, thanks. Turning the corner for the best can happen so suddenly it's amazing when it does. The doctor increased my inhaler dose and add...

Re: Vulnerable

Leggo, you're not alone in your misery, anxiety, worry, anger, frustration, and sadness. Forgive me if I attribute an emotion here that doesn't apply but these are the feelings I'd have if going through what you described. You hit the nail on the head! [Or in the tire, as the case may be] Yea...

Re: Vulnerable

Sometimes life just seems too much and when we are feeling low it feels out of control. This is probably what happened during the incident in the supermarket and why you were upset, it felt like another turn of the screw. Exactly... Yes, tomorrow morning I'm going to the DMV to get the car reg done...

Re: Vulnerable

Wow; you certainly put my travails into perspective. No wonder you are feeling miserable. It is my pleasure to be your downward comparison.  Sorry to hear you have mom problems too. Mothers and daughters...very difficult. I'm still pretty scatterbrained so I'm going to reply to replies ...

Re: Vulnerable

Thank you all for your kindness. I am a little too overwhelmed to respond to each in depth right now. Your replies are seen and appreciated. On the way to my training at my new job today, I got a slow leak flat tire. [At this point it would be reasonable to wonder if I'm a sympathy-seeking troll. Bu...

Vulnerable

Hi everyone, I need to feel cared about tonight. I have so much going on and would just like to check in. I have a long list of stressy crap all going on at the same time. I got sick in early August with a sinus infection. Amazingly I am still sick, though now it's just the post-viral bronchospasms ...

Re: Muscle Relaxants

I also have extremely tight muscles, and have often wondered whether this is a side effect of them getting very little rest during sleep. Same issue. And I'm convinced this is the case. I have vague chonic musculoskeletal pain. All bit goes away when sleep meds are working. Yawny, I'm glad the bacl...

Re: Fighting opioid tolerance

Not sure which aspect you're referring to? I didn't have withdrawals. Receptors reset so it's working somewhat again.

I tried methadone briefly and clonazepam during that month. Neither were a good fit.

Re: Opiods

I get concerned when people are put on antipsychotics like Seroquel and Zyprexa for sleep. If I remember correctly, these meds are associated with significant weight gain and increased risk of diabetes. I know sometimes they're used to help severe depression. Obviously a decision to make with one's ...
