Re: Using Neupro 3 months AFTER mirapex augmentation

How did your appointment go? Xmas, xmas holidays for others and a one year old who continues to battle pnemonia has kept me from doing much The appointment itself wasnt very inspiring One right direction is I'm being fitted for a CPAP in about 36 hours . Other than that , I have very little support...

Re: How to tolerate ADVERSE effects of tramadol

Also look into Tapentadol, it is similar to Tramadol but still different enough that it might fix your RLS but not cause the problems you are currently having with Tramadol. Tapentadol is a moderate potent opioid, right in the middle between Tramadol and Morphine. You should look into this. Maybe i...

Re: Using Neupro 3 months AFTER mirapex augmentation

Re: How to tolerate ADVERSE effects of tramadol

Good luck to you! You really need to see a specialist because in your case a number of different complicated symptoms intersect. Whatever is going on with your breathing needs to be carefully investigated and treated. It is very uncommon and even a bit bizarre that you react so bad to even really r...

Re: How to tolerate ADVERSE effects of tramadol

Wish I had some knowledge - unfortunately not. Because of chronic appendicitis that no one identified until it had started leaking, I had a long surgery in which lost some bits of my gastro system. Since then, some things just plain bother me. Transit time can literally be 30 minutes between ingest...

Re: How to tolerate ADVERSE effects of tramadol

.... I suppose if I coat the med any further , I run the risk of not getting the proper dose.

I clearly need off tramadol but I need to find something to cover rebound then replace it

Looking to get a cpap to help me breathe as well before even taking a moderate codeine dose etc ...

How to tolerate ADVERSE effects of tramadol

So I'm still stuck on a tiny dose of 25mg of tramadol at bedtime (and sometimes an overnight booster dose of 12.5mg, which is actually tolerated even less) I literally went back on mirapex 0.0625MG AFTER I augmented 4 months ago because 75-100mg of tramadol was making me very ill . I realize a whole...

Re: 1st post after 24 years of RLS

My Mirapex dose is 0.25mg and I augmented first on mirapex, then on Neupro and went back on Mirapex because I was about to do an interstate move, so I had to wait until I got in with a new doctor before starting opioids. As for clonazepam, I take a 1mg Quick Dissolving Tablet and learned that I hav...

Re: 1st post after 24 years of RLS

I also have UARS and have used an auto CPAP for it for years even though my AHI has always been below 10. However, not that I am on an opioid, my neurologist keeps asking me if I am continuing to use my CPAP and if I am checking the results each day. I reassure her that I do. I don't know how much ...

Re: Attempting to get off Ropinirole - again

Marie - I think you are such a nice sweet person that they may be taking advantage of you. Do you have someone who can some with you? I have gone with my best friend as an advocate, and for my mother. Sometimes someone else who will be a bit more forceful can do what we cannot. I agree with this Br...

Re: Using Neupro 3 months AFTER mirapex augmentation

Re: Circadian rhythm disorders ... Who's got one ???

I dont mean to nag , but are you able to keep a 24 hour pattern with the aid of this regime? No worries :) Yes, I am. There are some nights where I sleep late, but they have been more sparse. On most nights I get up around 6:30am to 7am and I go to sleep between 11pm and midnight. I forgot to add t...
