Thank you all for your comments - especially interested in Yawny's experience as I haven't tried it as yet. I agree it is a wonderful medication to take for many chronic illnesses as I have personally known people with debilitating fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue etc get amazing help...but as for RLS ...

I believe that the addition of a good quality oil (mayonnaise is OK if it is made from Olive oil and trans-fat free) is actually good because it lowers the glycemic index even more.
