yes, vit c helps absorption, when well hydrated. OJ is loaded with sugar though, so I take 100 mg by mouth with my kratom in almond milk which helps it stay mixed.

in the research i have done, it suggests a minimum 3 gram dose for medicinal effects. that is 1.5 tsps. I am having 5 hours of relief on that dose. However, I have also done a heavy metal detox and am on a very strict diet as per my holistic neurologist, so i am pretty sure it is a cumulative effect...

Not a good idea to mix anything, and Kratom is no different. How else can you be sure of how it impacts your body. I alternate strains to avoid building a tolerance and I get 5 hours of night time sleep relief with every 1.25 to 1.5 tsp dose (pending strain). I no longer suffer RLS during the day, ever.
