Re: Medical Marijuana

For me, it stops the urge to move. Its quite remarkable how effective it is. The caveat is that it is hard for me to fall sleep if the THC kicks in while I am awake. Therefore, I must fall sleep before it kicks in. Previously, this wasn't an issue, but is now because have had trouble fall asleep as ...

Re: Medical Marijuana

I thought I would provide another update. It has been three weeks since I started using edibles for RLS/WED and my quality of life has improved dramatically. I cannot recommend it enough. I hope this keeps up for the long-term.

Re: Medical Marijuana

Wow, this is an incredible thread. Thank you everyone for sharing your knowledge. I have been using edible MMJ for the past 3 nights w/a lot of success; however, when i wake up in the morning, i feel as though my sleep is not as restful. Is this what you are referring to as the hangover effect? I do...

Re: New to Site; hello to all

I believe my RLS is triggered by stress as well. It typically goes away 100% when I am on vacation. Anything specific you are doing to manage the stress? Any specific triggers you have found?

Re: Vacation and RLS

This doesn't make sense to me! I went to Las Vegas last week with my girlfriend for 5 days. The moment I got off the plane I was able to sleep like a baby. I slept each night in Vegas for 8-10 hours and the first 3 nights back I didn't have RLS/WED. I was eating all kinds of foods, drinking alcohol ...

RLS oozz

Hello, Figure I will introduce myself. I’m oozz, 31 y/o male. I can say I’ve officially had RLS for a little over a year straight. Not sure when it started, but I have always had poor sleeping habits. I typically get it around 3:30-4:30 am every night. It’s mainly in one of my legs, but it’s not unc...

Serum Ferritin

I got some blood work done about 6 months ago, at which time the doctor included some sort of iron tests. I asked my doctor if one of them was a serum ferretin test and he answered yes, but seemed a bit unsure; he just stated, “I ordered 3 iron tests”. Is there anyway to determine if a serum ferriti...

Thanks for sharing. I took the questionnaire and it confirmed what I already knew.

Re: My RLS should I get a 2nd opinion ?

Question - when you wake up w/RLS is your mind running? Or. are you in a very sleep-like state?

Personally, I've noticed that I'll often wake up due to RLS and my mind is running at a million miles an hour.

Thanks.

Severity of RLS/WED?

What is considered severe, mild, and acute RLS/WED?

I get RLS 6/7 night and would like to gauge my experiences with others to determine what may and may not work for me. Sometimes I will get it on a plane, but this has not happened recently.

Thanks,

Re: Vacation and RLS

Thanks for the responses everyone. @Rustsmith - The locations have been so varied in terms of altitude, weather, and season, I have to say its an internal factor. The one instance we changed time zones dramatically (EST > Alaska) didn't really have an effect on me. @polarbear - similar to above. @ba...

Vacation and RLS

Hello, New to the forums here. I’ve had primary RLS for about 2-3 years now. I’ve noticed that when I go on vacation my RLS clears up entirely! From the night I land to a few days after I get home. I’m not really sure how to interpret this. This isn’t just a one time thing, it’s been this way for ev...
