Re: Just Need to Vent
Thank you for the response stjohnh. My ferritin level in August was 100. We did discuss augmentation (I had to bring it up) and how to combat it. I tried several different medications that did not work before the Requip. Yesterday I decided to try something new...I took a 2mg pill @ 1:00pm and then ...

Re: How long have you had RLS/WED
I have had RLS symptoms since my mid-late 20's (I am now 48.) My father has suffered with RLS for as long as I can remember, and on a side note he is now fighting Parkinson's disease. My RLS became "severe" around 5-6 years ago, to the point of not being able to drive more than 30 minutes ...

Just Need to Vent
Hello all. I am 48 and I have suffered with RLS for over 20 years, but for the past 5 years it has gotten to the point of severe. Re: Is your DA causing augmentation?
Viewsaskew, I may need to find another physician, because my current provider seems to think that what I am doing is my only choice. Badnights, I have not had my ferritin checked, so that is something that I will definitely bring up during my next visit (in March). Thank you for the information, I r...

Re: A trick to help with car travel
For drives 45 minutes or longer I find that a heating pad designed for car travel that plugs into the cell phone charger helps. Mine is not very large and just covers my lap. I hadn't even considered this idea. Thank you for bringing it up. I struggle on the 30 minute drive home from work, so I wil...

Re: Is your DA causing augmentation?
I am confident that I am augmenting. I have been on 4 mg of Knolopin (which I tried to stop myself and within 3 days began having terrible withdrawals) and 4 mg of Requip per night for a year. Although I am able to sleep through the night, I have noticed that I am having to take the medication earli...
