Pain Management
I've had RLS for about 10 years and I've had back aches for about the same. The RLS was only at night and made sleeping hard. Any medications I took orally made them worse. It was a living hell. My doctor put me on all the drugs you people are talking about but I can't spell. LOL and some made me si...

Oils
I've looked at Oils...especially one called Lavender and you use it through Aromotherapy. I ordered the pot and the lavender so I'll report back.

I'm off it already. I had restless legs x 10 the next day each time I took it.

TRAZODONE
I just had this prescribed and it really worked well. I fell asleep fast and awoke about 8 hrs later refreshed. No restless legs. However, in the morning as I drank my tea, I had a small episode... I'll keep taking it and see. Has anyone else tried this? It's not an Opioid or addictive.

Re: Iron has helped
The Slow Fe has given me some constipation and some minor RLS if I relax in the daytime, but so far none at night. I dont think this is a cure, but right now I'll take all the help I can get.

Re: Iron has helped
It's been two weeks and the RLS is almost nonexistant. It rained all day yesterday so I was forced to stay inside and so sat on my computer all day (I'm a writer) and I got restless legs after extended sitting in the daytime... but last night I slept sounding without any problem. I'm hoping I found ...

Iron has helped
Slow Fe, an iron supplement that I bought on Amazon has helped. It hasn't cured my RLS, but I have episodes a bit less often and less severe. I've only been taking it for a week but the daytime Restless legs has ceased almost completely. I still have them at night, but they are less severe. As I con...

Re: Frantic...RLS 24/7
Thank you. Before I read this I buckled and took one half of one of my Oxycodone....I was desperate for a good night's sleep and I got it. Maybe I'll slip a night and take it tomorrow. I don't want an addiction and alcoholism runs in my family and is the reason I don't drink. I got a wonderful night...

Frantic...RLS 24/7
For years I've had RLS at night, but now, after my April 6th spinal surgery (not sure if connected) I have it 24/7--night and daytime. The doc gave me gababentin and some other prescriptions but they all make me sick...nausea and shaking... doc refuses to give me valum or xanax because I'm over 65. ...

Re: Just joined
I couldn't even stretch in the a.m. or my leg or foot would cramp. Magnesium and tonic water help with that. I was diagnosed with RLS years ago from a sleep study. It's hard to describe RLS but I'll try. It feels ANTSY...I gotta kick, move and thrash around. I can't sit still. I used to get it just ...

Thyroid Levels and RLS
My thyroid levels have risen this last blood test to almost twice what they were, but still a few points under the number that would put me on medication...at the same time my RLS has worsened to 24/7 instead of just at bedtime. Could there be a correlation? I have an appt with a sleep doctor at the...
