Re: Anyone NOT experience augmentation on ropinirole?

Thanks everyone for the input. I tried cutting the dosage of ropinirole in half again the other night (so .125) and it still helped, so on the occasions that I do take it, I will stick with that dose - the pills are small to begin with, so by the time I cut them into eighths, it's basically a crumb....

Re: Anyone NOT experience augmentation on ropinirole?

Thanks, Holland and Steve. I will bring it up with my doctor at my next appointment. I forgot to request she check my ferritin level for my last blood test, so I will ask her about that as well. Thanks again.

Anyone NOT experience augmentation on ropinirole?

I finally broke down and asked my doctor for a prescription for ropinirole after trying several other things like magnesium, increasing iron intake, etc. and getting no relief. I told my doctor that I don't want to take it every day, to only use it when I haven't slept in a week or when I have to be...

Re: Hello from Kentucky

Sleepdancer2 - it's always nice to meet a neighbor! I live in far western KY, though, so not too close to OH. I've read so many posts on here, but am I remembering correctly that you are on the west coast now? My son lives in Seattle, and I love it out there. That's my upcoming 5 hour plane ride. I'...

Re: Hello from Kentucky

Thanks for the TENS Unit recommendation, sleepdancer2. My RLS is usually in my quads (although sometimes my arms at the same time), kind of the lower part near my knee, at least that's where it helps to use a massage ball or the heel of my hand when they're bothering me. Would I put the pads directl...

Re: Hello from Kentucky

Thanks! I will definitely order some Kratom to see if it helps. I have a 5 hour plane ride coming up in a month, and I'm hoping to find something that will get me through that. I have a check-up at the doctor soon, so I will ask about checking my ferritin levels. Thanks again.

Hello from Kentucky

Hi. I just joined today, although I've been "creeping" and reading posts for a couple of weeks. I've had RLS going back to my 20s, although then it was just an every once in a while thing. For the last 10 years (just guessing, not sure), it's been an every night, sometimes day, thing. I'm ...
