I use Sinemet two or three times a week and have done so for maybe a couple years. I never take it two days in a row. So far no problems.
I have in the past augmented on Ropinirole. Never ever want to go thru that hell again.

Re: Generic for Lyrica
I just went to look at my bottle. Sure enough it no longer says Lyrica on the bottle. I was wondering why my out of pocket co-pay went way down a few months ago. So the only difference i can tell is the price.

Re: Alerting help (Tramadol)
I take 50 mg. Tramadol at 5pm and another 50 around 10pm along with .25mg ropinirole and 150 mg. Lyrica. I can't say for sure that Tramadol causes any alerting issues with me tho. Not nearly as much as Norco anyway...which i also take on occasion. I have had issues with sleep ever since i can rememb...

Re: Attempting to get off Ropinirole - again
It was not too bad tapering from 3 to 1 mg because of how slowly i did it. By that time i was taking Tramadol and i thought it was doing most of the work anyway. But going off the last 1 mg suddenly was another story. Having a good supply of Norco on hand sure helped me. I wonder if i had cut back t...

I took several months going from 3mg to 1mg. Stayed at that dose for several more months then went cold turkey.

Re: Attempting to get off Ropinirole - again
Glad to hear Lyrica is working so well for you. I started taking it a few months ago after i went off off a 3mg dose of ropinirole. No side affects so far. 100 mg. twice a night seems to do the trick for me. I've always suffered from insomnia. It used to take me 1 to 2 hours every night to get to sl...

Why not just switch to Norco? It has less acetaminophen than Vicodin.

Re: New to group.
Tramadol has been my mainstay medication for a lot of years. It works as well now as it did when i first started taking it. I have been taking Lyrica for the last few months. It doesn't do much for my symptoms directly...but it does help me sleep. Which is no small thing. Some people have problems w...

Re: Nerve Tension
I wonder if both kinds can be passed down? I also have no symptoms but the creepy crawlies. My father had the same. Nothing seems to improve my symptoms except Dopamine Agonists and opioids. I take Lyrica..but all that seems to be is an expensive sleep aid. It does nothing directly to help with my c...

Re: Experience with Injectafer?
I had my level checked for the first time ever a few months ago. I expected it to be low considering that i augmented on Ropinirole. But it was over 200. Maybe that explains why i got by with taking a fairly high dose for 15 years tho.

Re: Melatonin
I took at least a year weaning from 3 to 1 mg. After that i went cold turkey. Legs is a superhuman. Even with opioids and marijuana i got 2 hours sleep at best for 5 nights straight. I went to work every day but i was pretty much a zombie. After 5 days it gets better quickly tho. Well worth the 5 da...

Re: methadone not working
I take Tramadol as part of my cocktail and occasionally Hydrocodone. I live in Illinois and have never had a problem with my pharmacy, but my Dr went nuts when all the hysteria started and shut me off from both. His comment was "opioids arn't for restless legs". It's a long story but after...

Lyrica is expensive. Even with insurance its a higher copay than Gabapentin.

Re: Lifetime RLS/WED here to say hi!
I started taking Lyrica a few months ago. Hated it at first and almost stopped taking it altogether because of side affects. But i stuck with it and while i have had to increase my dose a couple times...the side affects have become tolerable over time. I went from feeling like a zombie all day to ju...

Re: Back Surgery and RLS plus spasms
I used to make comments on how ridiculous it was when dr's would put old people on so many meds. Now i'm one of those people.
