Re: Gabapentin
I have been on gabapentin over 10 years. I take 1200 mg at night. Recently it has started to not help my rls symptoms. Has anyone been on gabapentin this long and it all of a sudden started to not help? What medication did your doctor put you on? Not very long on gabapentin (2 years approx) but my ...

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
Good to know OJ with iron. I've been on oxycodone for the past week due to an operation so that's really improved things. Too bad this can't last. LOL

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
I'm pretty stable on 65mg of iron and 3000 mg Gabapentin for the moment but that won't last. Next stop a neurologist.

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
Dropped to .25 mg cause the .50 mg made me feel like lead and no real improvement in my symptoms. So this drug gets trashed. Screw it.

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
No iron work done yet. I may have to wait til I see the neurologist. 0.5 mg tonight - yesterday 0.25 - same results meaning not a lot of help. I'm not impressed with these results.

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
Still experimenting as to when to take the clonazepam. The drug makes me feel like I weight 300 lbs. (I weight 168). Not unpleasant and seems to help. We'll see.

Clonazepam
I saw my GP today. My gabapentin dosage is up to 2700-3000 mg. He's prescribed clonazepam 0.5 mg for the anxiety aspect of my symptoms I'm experiencing though I have some doubts we're talking about the same kind of anxiety (maybe yes maybe no). Anyone use this drug for your RLS? Doc says his other R...

Re: CVS Won’t Ship Gabapentin to House
I got my McLean, VA neurologist to call a RX to a CVS with a drive thru. When I drive up they told me I couldn’t get the RX as another RX exists at the first CVS. I got so pissed off I lost composure yelling thru my scarf. I pulled thru and waited until they called and cancelled the first RX. The w...

Re: CVS Won’t Ship Gabapentin to House
Here I am isolated at home with my wife and two daughters. My neurologist called in a RX of gabapentin but CVS won’t ship it to my house like other medications because Gabapentin is a controlled substance. I’m 48, obese with high blood pressure; high risk for COVID, yet I can’t get my prescribed me...

Re: Aimovig
I am new to the forum. I’m a physician. I’ve been on Aimovig for over a year. It has had its ups and downs for my migraine. Even switch to a different class of drugs. Now I’m back on it and it is working great for the migraine. However, the RLS it’s worse than ever. Sorry to be the bearer of a bad ...

Re: Is your DA causing augmentation?
Bring gin instead :) I hate gin, but I'd drink it by the bucketful if it would help. Or perhaps... just wouldn't care !! We are a group of 6 friends of very long standing, at least 40 years, who have helped each other and given a shoulder to each other through the hard times of illness, bereavement...

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
Hi brynmr I'm glad your ropinirole-free night worked and you slept well! You can definitely get augmentation within days - I had it by the third day. Besides Qyx, Ann also augmented in very few days, and there are others here who augmented within a week. So you might have been augmented already. I'...

Re: Gabapentin not working so good
Looks to me like I'm a member of the exclusive, Rapid Augmentation on Gabapentin, club. Thanks for the info everyone, I do appreciate your advice too. So far the upped dosage of gabapentin (2400mg) is working reasonably well. Bouncy feet but falling asleep ok. Kratom looks interesting - some iffy si...
