Conflicts with Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole?

Re: Ivory Liquid

A follow-up on Ivory Liquid. I still find it beneficial. If my leg or foot aren't ready to settle down but I have had 2 ropinirole and I limit myself to that almost always, I put the soap on the offending part. Soon I am settled down. Sometimes the restless part moves and I give a second treatment. ...

Magnesium pills

A neighbor suggested that it might be helpful to take magnesium glycinate pills. I don't think she knew anything about restless legs but she gave me a few and I bought a bottle. It wasn't part of my regular routine and during the Xmas holiday I didn't keep up with my magnesium pills. I had a couple ...

I tried it and I think it may be helping. I had to drive home from a relatives house and my right leg between the knee and ankle was bothe...

Does it work to retry a medication?

I visited a new neurologist and when I mentioned that some day I may need a low dose opioid when my ropinirole is ineffective, he said that it may not be necessary yet. He said that gabapentin worked for a few years before it stopped being effective. I could try it again. I asked if that would work ...

Travel

I saw mention by someone of problems with travel. I find in late PM that long periods in the car are tough. Travel on a plane, especially in late PM, is uncomfortable and I do a lot of aisle walking. I wonder if there are any suggestions to combat this.

I'm new at this

I am a new member of the Discussion Board and this is my first submittal. I have had restless legs for over 20 years. Before I knew about RLS, I remember thrashing my legs at night so that I slept on the floor so I wouldn't disturb my wife. I was diagnosed with RLS when had a sleep test for sleep ap...
