Thanks for the reply Steve, I stopped taking the iron pills as they were causing digestive distress, and heartburn. I still have symptoms, but they are minor compared to what they were.

My ferritin was 33 in March of 2022, I began taking 325 mgs of ferrous sulfate with 100 mgs of vitamin C every evening. Thanks for response, according to Renal and Urology News, gout risk is possibly linked to iron intake. Findings are based on several studies in various countries and regions.
