Re: Lorazepam and OxyContin

Hello, In the past, I have taken 1 mg of Xanax every night with 100mg of tramadol and 100mg of pregabalin, or I have taken oxycontin cannot remember the dose but it was strong enough to replace the 100mg of tramadol that I was on for a toothache that the tramadol was not touching until I could have ...

I bake myself a small loaf of bread every three days and also enjoy a lot of pizza.

Hi Jim,
You say you eat a lot of pizza what type of sauce do you put on it because I thought with low oxalate we could not use typical pizza sauce.

thanks

Looking for RLS Doctor in Central New York

If anyone has recommendations for an RLS doctor in Central New York or within 250 miles, a day's drive, let me know I am looking! I did see two on the RLS.org site in Albany and can recommend them, let me know.
Thanks ~ Mel

Re: Pain Management Doctors Patients Rights

Thank you for responding, I think I put this in the wrong section!
The next drug they want me to go on is Nucynta (tapentadol) which is not covered under my insurance.
Thanks!

Pain Management Doctors Patients Rights

Some of you have read my past comments in some of these threads but I am not sure I mentioned I was recommended to leave my neurologist and go to a pain management doctor, pmd, as my neuro doctor could not prescribe opioids. I am also trying the low oxalate diet with some success on my past medicati...

Re: ER opiates (oxy) vs methadone

Hi Bill, I just tried methadone as I am at the end of my choices too. I am currently on a drug holiday from Tramadol with another opioid trying to see if I can go back to it, I am also trying the low oxalate diet, which seems to be helping with my legs. When I was given the choice to try methadone I...

Re: My journey to 100% relief

I am going on a tramadol holiday and going on 5 mg hydrocodone-acetamidacine 3x per day but I am worried that it will not be enough to cover the 2/50mg tramadol 1per day, 1 each 200 mg tramadol at bed time. I will stay on the pregabalin 100mg 2x's a day and 75mg 3x's a day the new meds, and hope th...

Re: My journey to 100% relief

Hello all and Jim, So it has been about another week and I thought I would update you on my journey on the low oxalate diet. I had two bad nights but six great nights of sleep and seven great days! I am finding a few foods that are not good for me, at least I think they are the foods that are not go...

Re: Use of Potassium Citrate for RLS

Would this go along with the people who are on the low oxalate diet? Since this is used to treat kidney stones?
Thanks ~ Mel

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Hi all, I know Repetitive Transcranial Magnetive Stimulation has come up a few times over the years, but I am wondering if anyone has had the RTMS and if it has worked? It looks like the NIH and several other research institutions have been studying RTMS and it might be a positive treatment for RLS/...

Re: Temporal Magnetic Stimulation, anyone?

Hi Kimberly,
by any chance did you go forward with the TMS? Just wondering as it sounds like some of the recent studies have shown it works for some people with RLS.
Looking forward to hearing if you took advantage of this! Mel

Re: Gabapentin Withdrawal

Hi all, How long were you on gabapentin? I am looking to get off this drug for the same reason as @Fly007 I cannot take the brain fog. I keep forgetting everything, am anxious, and think my boss thinks I am crazy! I am also on tramadol and will ask to go on a drug holiday from both of these drugs to...
