"I have read from some on here tht caffeine is bad for RLS, i am really bad for coffee, but last week i stayed clear and it didnt make a difference..." Speaking from experience here, Kaz, there may be a time element at abstaining from ingested substances before results become apparent. I had reason...

Reinstated

Once you have it, it never really goes away, although sometimes we do have periods where it lessens for awhile. Hi, Ann. I experienced, to my great delight, about a year of negligible RLS symptoms. What symptoms I had did not affect my sleep, with only two exceptions. But, alas, I recently was rein...

It did perk me up quite well but I also found absolutely no RLS while using (Red Bull)

Sure happy for you that it is beneficial. I don't know about the RLS part, but I know that if I drank a can of that stuff, I probably wouldn't get to sleep until March, February at the earliest.

Dagnabbit!

That last 'Guest' post was mine. I forgot that I have to "Log In" twice to really be logged in. Never have figured that out. Sigh.

Thought I'd pop in after a long hiatus. Hi Becat, Views, Ruby and others. In my last post in late May I reported that I had been symptom free for about six months after having divorced myself from my daily 2-3 glasses of el cheapo red wine. My initial RLS symptoms had started suddenly and it coincid...

No Longer a Member in Good Standing

I have visited the Forum very little in the last few months. I think I have misplaced the requisite qualifications to participate in the Discussion Board. I have been largely symptom free for the last six months. I did experience RLS for about three years but my case would be classified as mild. It ...

She was more than my grandmother, she was a trusted friend and a gifted soul. The kind of woman that made each of us feel like her special favorite.

Becat,

Having met you, I suspect it must have something to do with the genes.

Wish you the best.

Hi, Ann Don't buy that bottle yet. The final results have not been tallied. I've been busier than usual, and my usual is on a par with a one-armed wallpaper hanger. Nothing particularly pendulous, pardon the alliteration. Working full time and being a caregiver to two family members and sometimes go...

Naproxen coincidence?

I inured my leg recently but nothing serious enough to educe sympathy. For the reduction of inflammation I was prescribed Naproxen which I have been taking for four weeks. During this time I have experienced near-zero symptoms of RLS. Perhaps there is a connection or maybe, like PeteB, I'm experienc...

BTW,what is BBCode? Well, the quote was one example. This is also BBCode. And this is BBCode. And underlines. And font colors. BBCode is the modifiers you may apply to your text in the message body during composition, which alters the posted appearance from ordinary text. I hope you may find respit...

Seasonal wishes.

I've been hanging around-----just not making a lot of noise. Being a caregiver to two family members with multiple deficits and working full time limits my ability to exchange discourse, though I continue to read with interest most of the posts. I wish to take at this time the opportunity to wish ev...

Oaklander, Thanks for the website. I haven't gotten to the RLS algorithm yet, but I did read the abstract on "neuropathic pain". I have encountered that term many times in these forums, but for some reason my brain-dense shields were up and the term didn't click. After reading the abstract I thought...
