Hi Nora and welcome to this group. I took requip about two years but never had the ankles swell nor the weight gain. It made me very nausea and did not help my legs at all. I hope that you are able to find comfort for yourself. I would definitely talk to your dr about this and please keep us posted ...

Hi Jitterlegs and welcome to this group. I am so sorry that you are having a rough time with your rls. Need to ask you a question. How long have you been on Mirapex and what mgs did your dr start you at? Reason for asking as you had stated that you are having the symptoms all day. You could be augme...

Oh Maddie I am so glad that I was able to help you. I know that I am doing good at .75mg of clonazapem just wish I could say the same thing about mirapex. My symptoms are starting earlier and earlier; however does not last that long. I hope that I am not in for a rude awakening. Right now I am just ...

Hi PB congratulations. I know you will do it. I know I quit over 35 yrs ago and never looked back. For me it was not hard as I quit with no problem so it was easy for me. As for my hubby it was not so easy as he was a 2-packer/day and had a heart attack in 1986 (he was only 46) but he was one of the...

Hi PB thanks but I am not totally off of Mirapex. I am not just taking the extra doses that the dr told me to take. I do not know if it is just my imagination, but so far I am doing fine as I am only taking .125mg which I had originally took in the beginning. I am taking 1/2 of the pill around 5 pm ...

It really does suck, Charlene. I can remember feeling exactly as you are - I wished I'd NEVER started on this route. But, we did. We can't change it. And, I did have many nights of sleep that I wasn't having prior to being on the DAs. So, with a shrug of my shoulders, I had to decide it was not hel...

Hi Maddie I would not decrease the clonazapem that quick. Like my neurologist took me from 1mg to .75mg and will probably stay there until I see him in three months. This drug needs to be lowered very slowly. I have been were you were and know what you went through. I do not like Mirapex as I have s...
