It is not so much the RLS that is getting in the way of our love life, it is the Requip and the associated nausea.

Neuro Appt

Well, I FINALLY got a referral from my family doc for a neuro consult. It is not until 11/30, but at least I have an appointment.

What questions should I ask? What should I expect at the appointment? Any suggestions on how to prepare for this?

As far as helpful stretches, anything that stretches the underlying muscles of my calves. These are the ones responsible for extension rather than flexion. I just can't seem to remember their name, but we all know they are there when the RLS is in full swing! Anyway, I find that standing with my toe...

I have absolutely noticed a correlation between my menstrual cycle and my RLS. Much worse the week before & the first few days of my period. It was my DH who actually noticed the relationship. Not much seems to help except the passage of time.

I bounce my legs, but it doesn't bother me much like the electric shocks, tingly cramping I have as I try to fall asleep.

PanAway is very strong, so be sure to use a carrier oil such as avacodo or a nut oil to avoid irritation!

Basil & Rosemary together seem to help on some nights.
