I am from Houston. As far as the sleep number bed, It is in the spare room for a reason. At first it was ok, but before long it was miserable for me. My hips got sore and my back was aching every morning. While you can "soften" the mattress, it is still and air mattress. It is like camping all year ...

Sleeping apart-by design

My past job (currently not working) and hopefully my next job, are working night shift. That is 7pm to 7am. He gets several nights a week "without" me around. I can rest during the day without disturbing anyone. We have lost the closeness, but that has been gone for awhile anyway. It works for us. O...

Knee surgery

Has anyone else had increased problems after knee surgery? I had to have a total knee replacement last December. Having lived in Texas, I am sure I would be happy with it there, too. That's what those $400 a month electric bills are for in the summer time Ours was $575 last month! We also keep the ceiling fans on 24/7, in every room of the house. We have also tried the sleep number bed. It is now in the spare ...

Sewing machine legs! I had never heard that one before, but it sure describes me. I just found this board tonight, but my legs have been bouncing for over 40 years. My Mom used to get angry with me, and I even had a member of a church choir tell me that if I couldn't sit still, I needed to leave! I ...
