Re: Pharma Sticky

Thanks once again Susan and Ann! I'm doing ok, I refuse to be labeled as my diagnoses' add up, lol. I'm Hos, darn it! (I think I can say that) Peace to you all tonight and every night. I'm calling my pdoc tomorrow and see if he'll give me some samples of stuff and thank God for Netflix if (or when) ...

Re: Need advice on antidepressant/anti anxiety meds

So sorry you're having so many difficulties. And, what I'm going to add isn't going to make you happier, I'm afraid. There are no drugs that always work or always don't work. A study a few years ago found that all anti-depressants COULD worsen RLS/WED, but that usually, only 5 to 20% of people were...

Re: Nitrous Oxide

It's such a simple med. I assume the issue though isn't the medication itself but how to safely have it administered. You'd think they'd have it figgered out by now...
I would love to be in on that double blind study! :)

Hello all, long time no type... I was recently disgnosed with Celiac disease which is an autoimmute condition where your body attacks the intestines if you eat gluten (wheat, rye, barley, and sometimes oats). As you said, there is a strong correlation between Celiac and RLS. For those who want to as...

Yes, it is a mysterious disease. All we can do is trial and much error and pray there's some rhyme or reason for the successes. I've recently had more bad nights then good (like tonight) so I'll take a Xanax or pain pill when I can tell tr RLS has broken thru, walk for 20 min, then go back to bed as...

God bless our troops, especially yours! I work at a trauma center hospital and it should be fine as far as paying for it. All we can do is love our families (and each other) as much as possible for tomorrow is a mystery. Sounds like your son might be in special ops with all the jumping around the co...

Yeah, I understand it's all about appearances, I just don't see any relevant research being buried by the Foundation by pharma competitors who don't give them $$$.

Re: And idea I've been toying with...

Even though we do have a handful of sites which are good resources for RLS, we don't really have a distanced, clearly non-pharma industry connected site dedicated to RLS.. Dispelling the the myths, discussing treatments, coping mechanisms, information on the disease itself and what research is out ...

I can play video games for hours and my legs are fine. Then, I'll go sit on the couch and watch a presidential debate and my legs freaks out. Same with reading a good book. I still don't quite understand how it helps from a physiological standpoint but it does. Happy gaming! Far Cry2, Call of Duty 4...

Aiken, could you please get rid of that green hair on your picture avatar? It's kinda distracting. Thanks. Tazzer, could you please not use huge fonts when you post? It's kinda distracting. Thanks. Classic! You know, we all have pride and fight it daily. I know in my job I investigate complaints al...

Stepping down from the voice chat leadership helm.

Consider this a classified ad to recruit a new volunteer to take it over. PM me if interested.

It's been fun! :)
