Mark, i don't get a high off of any thing like that either. Except for the pain relief. As a matter of fact, when I had my 2 kidney stones the dr gave me a shot (I think 2mg of Dilauid)sp? the pain stopped but my pulse was still up and skipping beats. He then gave me a shot of tramadol in the drip. ...

Becat, you are spot on with the notion that the docs pick up on the "key" phrases and jump to that conclusion. I've been dealing with that for years. I've been doing my own research for the last year and have solved some of my physical problems myself. I've also learned to be careful what and how I ...

leg pain and statin drugs
I've been off the Vitorin for about four weeks now. No more leg pain. Still have the RLS but no more pain in the muscles and joints (except for the arthritis in back and knees) Different kind of pain. Still taking the Lyrica. I may stop that and see what happens. Am also still taking the 1 mg of Req...

Read it, Mark...that's what got me to reading more. I have been on a statin for about a year now. I asked him about this pain last August and he said he felt sure that was not my problem. Back then the drug company just vaguely (as an afterthought) warned you of a SLIGHT chance of a muscle disease. ...

Leg pain and statin drugs??
Ok, I've been reading too much again. Anybody out there also taking statin drugs? I'm wondering if what I've been blaming on RLS and my GP has been blaming on diabetic neuropathy is really caused by my Vitorin.. just a thought...Pat

Aiken, I had a nerve conduction study several months ago. I was told it would be uncomfortable...It was not nearly as bad as I expected. The worst part isn't the needles (as I expected). And it did not last long...They did find slight nerve damage. Probably due to the diabetic thing going on.. Good ...

Ominnie, I'm 59 and have a bunch of ailments..including arthritis (knees and thumbs), RLS and possible diabetic nerve damage. All are painful. I have a scrip for 2 Lortab 10 which I break in 1/2 and Lyrica for the diabetic thing. I still have pain if I don't take the Lortabs. I have been taking them...

Robert, I was switched from neurotin to Lyrica about a month ago. Neurotin did nothing for me. At least nothing that I could tell. I have noticed a slight improvement with the pain part of my RLS but not much. My GP is convinced that the pain is coming from diabetic neuropathy. I had a nerve conduct...
