Betty, I'm on 1mg of Requip. I don't know what the result would be if you took more that prescribed..Why don't you ask a pharmacist or your doctor? I found that a opioid worked best on long hauls. As long as I'm not driving.. You might want to try something like that before the trip to make sure it ...

Cystitis is something I do know about. If that is the problem. Penicillin is the best antibiotic to take. It knocks it out quick. I know they have all these new drugs that they want to try out on you. But the old stuff works best. Pridium is a "pain killer" for painful urinating. You can get a form ...

Zack, I love you... My husband and i are also looking into long term care. It's higher than I thought and I have so much wrong with me. Including type 2 diabetes. One of the companies we are looking at is through AARP. Hoping maybe they may be more lenient. The prices are all about the same. I'll tr...

You know, I asked my dr about methadone just out of curiosity. I don't think I'm there yet. The smaller doses of lortab through out the day work pretty good now. He said to get anything that strong, I would have to go to a pain clinic. Don't want that. He now has me on Lyrica 75mg 2x a day and requi...

Hi Jimmy Leggs...I got an electric lap blanket. Because my legs hurt worse when cold. It works well also..You can usually find them at Wall Mart. About $40.00. I ended up putting it on the bed. Now I want one for my rocking chair. Pat

Terry, Earthbaby, Vinton, and anybody else that has heart palpitations. You might want to look up PVCs. Premature Ventricular Contractions. I've had them for years. Meds can aggravate the symptom and so can anxiety. A lot of people have them and don't even know it. Most of the time they are harmless...

David, about the neurotin and requip. I was on the neurotin before the Requip. The Requip seems to work and we are splitting it up to try and prevent or control the augumenting. I won't know if it works for a while. The neurotin was not working very well, so I swiched to Lyrica. Today was my first d...

Andy, it is really a good idea if you are on multiple meds to keep a list in your wallet or pocket. I keep a notebook in my purse with all my meds, the dosage and when I take them. It helps at my regular dr apts and when I had my kidney stones and was in dire pain, I could just give them the list. I...

This is very interesting. I looked on line and found a doctor. The only one in Mississippi that specializes in RLS. Dr. Roffwarg, actually called me back in person. (I can't even get my GP of 30 years to do that) He is with the University (OLE MISS) Medical Center in Jackson. I filled him in on the ...

Thanks ya'll, My questions have been answered..I do have the kind of pain Susan described. And I don't have the neuropathic pain Jan described. It's exactly what my research was telling me...I thought I might have been a little hard on the Lunesta so I tried again last night with the same result and...

Oh Em, I'm pretty sure it worsened the RLS. I have been waking up during the night for a while. But sinse the Requip I have not had the "jum py"legs, just waking up for no apparent reason. I'll stay awake for 30 mins or so and go back to sleep. I do have the Lortab for the pain which I try to save f...
