Odly enough, I just told my husband I did not think the generic Requip was working as well. May be all in my head. I've been through a lot latley.( I do know my GYN won't prescribe generic harmones.) Just my two cents...I have been on 1 or 2 mg a day, as neened, and it seems the RLS comes back more ...

You know, I really think a lot of meds are "let's try this and see if it works". And probably many do and that's how we figure it out...Maybeee..pat

Oh, Susan, My doctor does the knee shots too. But he said one thing at a time. And he has slowly taken me off Lyrica..I don't' think it was doing any good anyway..We'll see..Thanks for the encouragement. I always think the anticipation is worse than the actual thing...Pat

Thanks for the help...Zack, I was very straightforward and honest. The Doctor was great. He didn't question the pain as my MRI showed 3 bulging disks and explained the pain down from my back to my knee and calf. He gave me a shot of a local steroid and something to numb the pain in my back. It laste...

Jenifa, I just had a MRI on my lower back. Extreme pain in "butt" muscles, down the front of my leg, knee and calf. They found 3 bulging disk and sent me to a pain clinic. Needless to say I have had RLS all my life but until recently (4 or 5 years) without real pain. The pain clinic doctor...

Good morning people. I bounce all the time. If I am sitting. I have always done it. Sometimes I am aware and sometimes I just become aware that I am bouncing. Like now. I don't really fell the bad jumpies of RLS but somewhere deep inside I need to move. No pain right now either. Boy this is a strang...

I can't think of any names right now, but have you tried any of the nasal sprays? Some contain steroids, but they work and would not have to go through your entire system. The only problem is they usually have to come through a script..Just a thought ...Pat

Thanks SS...I have read about Synvisc. I won't go into that with the first visit unless he brings it up. I have arthritis in both knees and have had steroid shots that did not work. So I was interested in Synvisc. I get from your message that it works for knee pain and does it give you more mobility...
