The pre DA 'me' was an RLS sufferer of many years but I guess it was still me. Thing is, in the last 5 or so years I have been diagnosed with another two ...

Re: Gabapenten used thru the night

at least initially. One 100 mg dose and I am a zombie for about 14 hours. I'm thinking that I have a low reaction to medications. See Ann's comment above in quotes. Many posters have said, like Ann, that they have a Zombie reaction, feel drunk, in a fog the next day, from the anti seizure medicatio...

Re: Is this RLS? So confused and need help

I find it interesting that your symptoms were gone 10 minutes after taking .025 mirapex. I would not expect mirapex to have worked anywhere near as quickly as this.

Re: Hello to all

twitch, I'd suggest that you ask for an up to date serum ferritin test. Also ask for the reading, what is 'normal' is not sufficient for us suffererers of RLS. While 20 could be considered normal we need it to be up around 100.

It is heartening to know that research into the use of opioids continues. Thank you John Winkleman.

Re: Very Tired

Deb, the middle of the night can be weird, the world is sleeping, and there we are. I've managed to gain weight just from the nighttime hours that need to be filled. I read, have a bowl of cereal, read a bit more, go onto the compuler, have a few cookies and a glass of milk.... and so it goes. Yes, ...

Re: NeuPro: keeping track of patch locations

Sinemet is excellent at dealing with the rls symptoms but should not be taken regularly. It can cause augmentation very very quickly. Please do not take it on a regular basis. It is very tempting when there is something that will help but you really do not want to take any medication in a way that c...

But you only have to Google it and will find various posts on various Forums where people have felt there has been some benefit. If it works for you then be joyous and make the most of it. Different ...

Re: Relaxis

Not a Relaxis but my husband has a Revitive, advertised as a circulation booster. It has been up in the loft for several years, which goes to show how good he thought it was. So down it came for another chance. I decided to have a go and lasted less than 5 minutes. RLS symptoms kicked in and that wa...
