With regard to memory and confusion, I so relate to what you are saying. Its like ---- Did I take that pill, or did I intend to take it? Normally my daily allowance is in a little container, but if I don't do this, I just can't remember.... I read a page, then read it again. Instructions are the wor...

Sorry JM, I've just seen in another thread that you have been on mirapex for some months and that you are going to see your doc.

Good luck, please let us know what he says. I hope he can help you.

I never found a non pharm remedy that worked well for me. Sometimes temporary relief came with very cold water, feet in a bucket of icy water and splash it up around the legs. Or a cold shower around the legs. It always took at least 15 minutes to work, but only lasted for a short while, to try to g...

Went to the Kenny Rogers show last night. Class... fabulous.... came out feeling warm all over... He entertained brilliantly with his chat as well as the music. OK... he is 'getting on', was a bit stiff... like the rest of us...isn't likely to be kicking a football about much. but the voice was stil...

Hi Nicky Off the top of my head, and without checking this, I think Wellbrutin may be known here in the UK as Zyban which is licenced for use to help folk give up smoking. When doc was thinking that I have fibro he said amnitriptiline worked for fibro but wasn't good for rls and we were reluctant to...

Hi Jim, I'm so sorry you are having such a tough time. Please do as Zach says and take the Mayo clinic algorithm to your doc. I also have rls 24/7 but thankfully get some relief with requip and ultram. My relief is not 100% but when I read your posts I realise that I am doing not too badly. You real...

As I understand it OTC cough medicines are a no-no, especially Benilyn (sp??) There is probably a list somewhere on this forum. However, I think that on www.rlshelp.org they give a list of meds to be avoided on the Medical Alert Card. I think its to do with the antihistamines in the OTC stuff.

Welcome Nightowl. I totally understand your feelings of desperation. I also have suffered symtpoms for over 30 years, and have been on medication for 3 years. Fortunately now my meds help so much, a cocktail of ropinerole and tramadol. With regard to your nausea on the 2mg ropinerole I wondered if s...
