Re: Weaning off RLS meds

As mentioned by badnights i weaned off Ropinerole over many months. Ten months to be exact. I was at that time taking 5 mg ropinerole daily which was an appallingly high dose. I reduced by a very small amount each week, sometimes every two weeks. Take note that at the same time i was also taking ...

Re: Pregabalin long-term side effects

You say your ferritin falls within the normal range which can be anything from 20+. However those of us with RLS do better if our ferritin is up around 75. Even better at about 100. You should check what the exact number is for your ferritin and if necessary work on raising this.

Re: When Print Articles Are Incorrect...

It is an embarrassment to see such an article. The writer letting themselves down with their lack of research. Not the first time i have made a written complaint to the respective newspaper/magazine/journal.with regard to such disrespect to their readers. I never get a response but i do get it off ...

Re: Noctrix Health - Nidra Device

Many years ago before my symptoms were better treated I used to lie on my stomach. Legs bent at the knees and feet in the air... waggling.
Pushing my knees into the arms of the couch made holding the position easier for longer.

Re: Symptoms appear after I take my meds

Like you I stick to a time schedule for my meds, and I sometimes have random times when it does not work. I have been unable to find an answer to my 'random times'.

The only time I have ever received an email notification is if I have actually been quoted within a reply.

Re: Symptoms appear after I take my meds

For some people being actively engaged in something may keep the symptoms at bay, hence you being comfortable playing bridge for 3 hours.

I have taken a dose of meds (both Kratom and Hydrocodone) and the symptoms were not relieved, even after an hour.
This comment, where you say the symptoms were ...

I take cocodamol and pregabalin at around 10am, again at 6pm, and cocodamol at 11pm (I go to bed around 1am.)
Sometimes I take cocodamol also during the night.... about 25% of the time.
If I don't need the the cocodamol during the night I will usually have rls when I waken in the morning.
Should I ...

Re: hydrocodone+Carbo-levo

pexj - It can be difficult to find a neurologist because any that are any good are probably in heavy demand. Other neurologists may not indeed know how best to treat RLS (even if they say they do). However, it is not always true that 'the reason you can't get in to see one is that there is nothing ...

Welcome today to
