It is thought that ropinerole stimulates the dopamine system. It's hard to get off ropinerole because of the severe withdrawal symptoms. I note the max pregabalin mentioned at 300mg daily.
It would appear to be different here in the UK.
I was taking pregabalin prescribed at 200mg twice daily.
I then attended my Mobility Disorder Doctor who upped the dose to 300mg twice daily.
