Re: Two very different doctors' visits

A gift indeed. Often when I am doing a crossword or sudoko I suddenly discover pen lines over the page like a snail's trail. :)

Re: Outburst at UPS Store Guy

leggo - I find also that sometimes it is easier just to be at home and potter about than find the enthusiasm to get out among folks and 'take part'. Finding the energy can be like an uphill climb and it's hard to committ when we don't know how a particular day might find us. As badnights has said, i...

Re: Two very different doctors' visits

Insomnia is so horrible and lack of sleep is unkind to us in many ways. There aren't many of us here who know a good night's sleep...... and generally, if we get some sleep it is likely to be medicated sleep. I agree with you and find also that opioids work very well for me, although they can also b...

Re: Requip & Erectile Dysfunction ???

dboy, welcome to the discussion board. Many of our members have discovered that sexual activity will put our RLS symptoms to rest. Unfortunately, not for me. I'll get about 10 minutes free and then the symptoms start again. Are you by any chance taking an anti depressant, these very commonly cause E...

Re: Harassed by repair person

I'm sorry you were subjected to this especially at a time when you were feeling lonely. I'm also sorry to say that I reckon most women have at some time come across similar behaviour. Do you have a friend that you can talk with and bounce this off. J was certainly overstepping boundaries. On two occ...

Re: exhaustion provides no reserve to deal with stress

fuz_mind - I was coming up to the age of 60 which was when I would get my Government State Pension. I never ever planned on fully retiring at 60 feeling that I still had plenty to offer as an employee, enjoyed my work and had a social side with my colleagues. This was 2009. The State Pension is quit...

Interesting to hear how you think the Melatonin works for you. My doctor asked me to try it and so to be cooperative I used it for the 13 weeks at his request. It didn't work for me, I hope it is better for you.

Re: Moving Mayhem

When I sold my home about 12 years ago it was at the top of the boom era. I had moved in with my Partner who is now my husband. I rented my home out for a few years, my safety net so to speak. Eventually I got weary of renting out and as the house prices were soaring, I sold. There were several folk...
